  1. Looks much better built this way! Good work.
  2. Something really similar in the AMT Ford Courier pickup kit, seen in this thread:
  3. Very nice, and the perfect partner to your transfer case tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
  4. Should be colorful, in a different way!
  5. Cool project! How about some mid-sixties Riviera hide-away headlights?!
  6. Agreed; good start!
  7. Looks like the graft was pretty close, width-wise. Any issues there? Loving the results you're getting!
  8. Fun stuff, and VERY authentic! Looks like it was just pulled out of the weeds. In a Craigslist ad, this would be called "near mint"!
  9. Looks pretty good from here. Nice job!
  10. Nice work, and I like the overall design of the ship!
  11. That's a cool build! I don't think I've ever seen one built; almost a forgotten Tom Daniel kit. Well done.

    1979 COBRA

Cool to see one of these treated so well!
  13. Fine looking models!
  14. I like it!
  15. A very cool model, and a great shade of blue.
  16. Especially love the interior, very authentic Ky. clay and mud ground into the mats! Great exterior finish, just not rusty enough for a Ford of that vintage!? Under-hood is mighty clean, too! (I live in KY too, I know how dirty these things can get, quickly, in or out of the holler...) Well done model!
  17. That made a very nice looking model, may need to grab one of these. Front view is really nice. Well done!
  18. Nice looking truck, cool color combo!
  19. Good trade with Sam I Am, smooth and trouble-free. Recommend to anyone.
  20. If I may offer one detail correction; it looks like you sprayed your front inner fender red, leaving a soft edge at the bottom. That should be a definite hard line between the red and black. Thee 442 used red plastic inner fenders, as Oldsmobile was experimenting with them for weight reduction from steel inner fenders. These were the entire inner fender, also visible under the hood, and not to be confused with the plastic inner fender liners that Pontiac would use because...it looked cool? Many cars would soon be using plastic inner fenders up front, but in black only. By the way, only the 442 had the red, other Cutlass models were black.
  21. Could relocate tach to the hood, GTO fashion!
  22. Nah, gotta go with Casey on this one - that is some spray can touch-up on that rear end, I don't care if it only has 57 yards on the OD. I've seen plenty of this, even done some, in the body shops I've worked in. Look at the tire, you can clearly see. where they sprayed the rim and some of the tire, partially covering the brake dust on the tire. We loved Krylon Semi-flat Black because you couldn't tell if you got some on rubber; it made tires look new, could cover white letters or white walls, and was quick and convenient to touch up.
  23. That was great reference, thanks for posting!
