  1. Robbed the tires from Monogram 57 Corvette.
  2. Built a few years back, mixed the turquoise from leftovers in the shop. Going to build another one of these and try to round up that top, and drop the gutter line down. Paint is actually even, digital pics make it look a little spotty. (Photographer's fault?)
  3. Is the Buick for sure being reissued? Yeah, if so, I'll get one, too. I have the Cadillac and the 56 Ford, and maybe a Chrysler of some sort in the ol' stash.
  4. Finish looks good, quite scale-correct in my book! Love the color too, it makes the build perfect.
  5. I'd build that Buick in a heartbeat if they just scaled up the tooling to 1/25. I wouldn't be deterred by a multi-piece body if I dig the subject. I even like that the Buick is a 4-door hardtop, an under-appreciated genre. This is one I didn't know even existed; thanks for posting!
  6. Nice to see one of these built. I like the dynamic pose of the figure; some can look too wooden and stiff, I suppose to simplify molding. Your paintwork really puts life into it. Well done!
  7. Progressing nicely, the seat is especially realistic.
  8. Congrats on rediscovering what's fun about the hobby: building kits! Looking good!
  9. Check again; the Edsel part is just the headlight surround. The headlights are Riviera units laid horizontally, which I find too cool!
  10. Fun build, love the body style, will be following!
  11. Don't forget some kind of headers to let all that fresh breath exhale!
  12. This is coming together nicely; digging the period-correct approach. Going to pancake that hood?
  13. Thanks guys!
  14. Nice model, and a very nice shade of blue to show it off!
  15. That is too cool!
  16. Ha! Absolutely the worst ever. I can't open the box and stir through the parts without hating myself for buying it. I got suckered into buying it by the timing of the release; back in the 90s or early 2000s when Lindberg was enjoying a renaissance of sorts with their newly tooled '61 Impalas, '67 Olds, SnapFit Crown Vic police car, Dodge Dakota, Chrysler Minivan, etc.. These were pretty nice kits of different subject matter, and I got 'em all. Then, one day, I see this Lincoln kit with a beautiful pic of the actual car on the box ( shoulda been a red flag, I know) and I thought OH YEAH, this will be nice. Nope. Oh man, no. Re-release of an old Pyro kit with multi-piece body and all. The chrome grille oddly enough has better looking detail on the backside than the front. I still hurt.
  17. Beautiful save, and beautiful car. Well done!

    ‘29 Model A

Excellent little hot rod; just enough shine and natural metal finishes for contrast, and how CLEAN! Love it.
  19. Oh yeah! VERY nice Impala model; does everything right. Is it me, or is the black strip in the center of the side chrome just an optical illusion, caused by reflections and shadow, or did you Sharpie it in? Either way, it looks superb!!
  20. Wow! With a the right background, this could be mistaken for the real deal. Fantastic modeling here.
  21. Pretty cool! This kit always looked to me a bit uninspiring in the box, but as you've shown it cleans up NICE! Color does everything for this body, and that is a really great choice you've made. Well done!
  22. Thanks, everyone, for the encouraging words!
  23. Thanks all!
  24. Ha! I didn't realize I overlooked those! I will correct that, and let me complement your build of the GTX!
