Good looking build! I like a chassis that looks like a car that is driven; just looks more real to me, even if the top side is clean and shiny.

This is very cool to me; there's something fun about doing a box-art build! Now, grab a modern kit or two and show us how the "real" car would look in 1/25 scale, it would make a great companion piece, same colors, same wheels, same everything - just more real.

That really did build up nice, agree with others that the box art does not do justice to the kit, but you show how it can be a great display piece!

Thanks, man, much appreciated. I do love a little drop in the front end, and didn't those wheels work like a charm? They totally change the flavor of the truck. Those snappers are such fun for slump-busting, relatively quick builds.

You made the ol' gal look nice! Red rag-top with chrome mags is ALWAYS cool.

Very cool stuff! Glitterbug in metallic green plastic was my first Dave Deal kit back in the early-mid '70s. Always loved Deal's style of cartooning and drawing in general. You've done these RIGHT!

Just realized this may be posted (probably) in the wrong section; possibly should move to drag race? Mods, feel free! I got a bit carried away posting while I had time to do so, and just posted everything in the same place.

Thanks! The color was some touch-up paint in the small spray cans, and I believe it was a GM color, but it has been a few years since I did that one so I'm not sure of the specific code. The interior colors I just mixed from enamels until I liked it. Your bubble top looks nice! I've also built the drag race version of this kit, but haven't stumbled across it yet. Fun builds!

The seat decals were from Scale Motorsport, still available I believe. They add a lot of nice detail to those 60s era seat fabrics.
