  1. Should have read my horoscope this morning!
  2. I know that, which is why I said that the *mandatory* vinyl roof should have been an option, or unavailable - they should have finished the plug and painted the roof, as they did on the Daytona.
  3. Very nice, the car looks great in steel top form and all one color. The mandatory vinyl roof always made these cars look two tone to me, vinyl should have been an option, if anything. Nice job on the rear window conversion.
  4. Awesome build; the stance, paint/decal scheme, and overall idea are top end. They really should have had a truck series back then, how cool would the big three trucks have looked battling it out on the track?
  5. Very nice, is that a Corvette ZR1 in there?
  6. A mind-bending masterpiece, and one of the most ambitious projects I've ever seen on this forum. I'd love to see this one in person someday.
  7. Truly calls for a celebration!
  8. Great job on the unusual 6 cylinder fastback, and the working lights really make it a standout. Base model conversions are among my favorites.
  9. Great to see it back.
  10. I like the color and the Cragars, '70s all the way.
  11. Thanks very much gentlemen.
  12. Very nice, and ironic as I took a few pictures of the J2000 last night.
  13. Crude print or not, the dimensions are pretty decent, especially at the front and rear. Nice job, I remember when those cars were everywhere.
  14. When the beach is 1/4 mile away, and you need to get there in 10 seconds flat.
  15. Very recognizable car, although the driver door trim should be removed for screen accuracy. That interior is spot on, it will be interesting to see how you do the dingle balls on the roof rails.
  16. Stunner, and I love the subject matter.
  17. Michelle Knight, eh? Cool concept!
  18. Very impressive detail work, and you did an excellent job correcting the exaggerated hood slope. Most of these El Camino and Malibu resin kits were based on the old MPC NASCAR kit body, which has that slope to the hood and front fenders, and the master builders didn't correct it during their conversions. That's a tricky operation, but you got it just right.
  19. Really cool, those 3D parts look as good as or better than the commercially available parts.
  20. A lovely Dodge Omni. That's it this time.
  21. So subtle and classy. Can't wait to see the next car out of the Jeffcad Cadillac Ranch.
  22. Thanks Dan. Those wheels were also used on the Monogram Ferrari Daytona Spyder kit, the Miami Vice car and later issues. The kit is actually of a Ferrari kit car, a Daytona body on a Corvette chassis. That may make the search easier.
  23. That is really pretty.
  24. I fully support that idea. I've often thought about a phantom Fleetwood 2 door hardtop that never was, as all 2 doors were DeVilles. (I'm pretty sure) Thanks David, high praise indeed. I was just discussing with a friend the future of the Model Car Museum in Utah, and how it's currently up in the air. If there is one thing this hobby needs, it's an established museum in an accessible place, possibly as a wing on an existing car museum. Thanks Jean-Philippe, great idea on using the printer for the rear grilles. As for the meeting, it did quite well. I'm taking it and a couple of other cars to the IPMS show this Saturday, always a fun and informative show. Thanks everyone for the kind comments!
