  1. Sincerest condolences to you and your family. Sorry for your loss.
  2. I just look at most inaccuracies as a challenge to correct. I've seen some real ingenuity on here to correct some minor and even major flaws on kits.
  3. All of my old models from when I was a kid are gone, left behind when I moved out. As of my newer builds, not sure. Maybe the F&F Toyota Supra. I had some big ideas for it that didn't work out as well as I hoped. Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
  4. I've got the convertible one of these. It's a little difficult, but it turns out to be a nice kit when finished.
  5. Just got in two Corvette promos, C5 and C6. I just got them because I needed the tail lights for the C5.
  6. Very clean job!! Welcome to the community!
  7. Was curious on these: Are they made out of a decent styrene? I wondered about how the plastic would take painting/sanding/etc.
  8. He should've glued them wheel side out. That way if it flips or rolls, it just keeps going. I saw a car once on the freeway with 5 1/4" floppy disks glued all over it. That was strange.
  9. Nice! I love 300Z's
  10. Looks great!
  11. Suggestion: Look around for the Aoshima BTTF Delorean. It has suspension that shifts from road to flight mode. Maybe you could adapt it?
  12. I like the CanAm's. That weird faceted thing is kinda fugly. Reminds me of a car from an old video game.
  13. I'll have to get me one o' these.
  14. Looks good so far! I keep wanting to get the Cadillac out of this series.
  15. Also the Cadillac Seville of the era was based on the same platform.
  16. Been wanting to pick one of these up. Looks like a nice kit.
  17. Got in a box of corvettes today, including a Manta Ray and a Corvette Indy.
  18. I open all of my kits, even duplicates, as soon as I get them. Like you said, it's to make sure all the parts are there.
  19. Sorry to hear they're retiring, but I hope they'll enjoy an awesome retirement. I hope someone will buy them out and continue the work.
  20. Windex works awesome to remove chrome. It just goes away, needs no scrubbing.
  21. Very Nice!!
  22. Yup! Every car has some issue during final assembly. I always screw something up mating the body to the chassis.
