  1. Have an accoustic guitar and so want to learn, just haven't had the chance to pick it up. Have gotten a lot better with Guitar Hero/Rock Band, though.
  2. Let's see.... was carving some excess putty off a salvage kit using an actual scalpel (was a kid and didn't own an Xacto, but had some family that was in various medical professions). the putty gave suddenly and I very nearly took the tip of my finger off with the scalpel. That took a while to heal, although not as long as when I carved into the other hand with my pocket knife cutting a hose on my real van. recently I cast some clear parts using acrylic. I set the can on the floor tightly closed with a plastic cover over the top (plastic cover also keeps the hardener with the can). Somehow as time went by the can got knocked over. It leaked a little of the resin onto the carpeting and has since dried. So much for the security deposit. I'll post more if I remember them.
  3. Suggestion to Moebius: How about picking up a lot of the lost kits from Jo-Han? Personally, I'd love to have one of the 60 Desotos or any of the odd 50's cars no one seems to produce. I'd venture to guess that they started with both of these since they're both licensed by Chrysler. Not complaining at all.
  4. Very nice build. Awesome job on the details.
  5. Yeah.... definitely going to have to get one of these.
  6. Unreal! I love what you've done so far. Good Work!
  7. Someone needs to make one that transforms. Kinda like the Alternators line. Those were about 1/24, weren't they? Awesome job!
  8. The Galaxie kits are really worth the money. They all but snap together. I've got one of the Aerosedans (posted in Under Glass) and it turned out pretty good. I may get another one later once my skills improve some more.
  9. Looks like one of the competitors for Carmageddon. I love it!
  10. Funny, it looks silver/grey to me. Kidding. It looks outstanding. The detail is really nice.
  11. I sooo want one of these. looks like you're off to a good start.
  12. I like the idea of trading it, except how would he ship it. He could just about drive it there.
  13. Looks like the set from the '66 Nova has the chevy II badge, but I can't make out any other detail.
  14. Looks very good. I'll be honest: if you hadn't said anything about the rear windshield, I wouldn't have noticed at all, and it's still hard to spot. Good Work!
  15. Really nice work so far. Love the paint color.
  16. Fantastic work. Do Want!
  17. Looks really good. I've been eying one of these, and I think you just sold me one.
  18. I don't think I could crush or throw a kit. I might put it back on the shelf until I figured out the issue or felt like tackling the problem. I kinda did that with my 60 bonneville.
  19. This is an excellent project! I had one of these when I was a kid, so I can't wait to see how it turns out.
  20. 2 liters work well, from what I've seen on here. Definitely gives you more surface area
  21. Saw one last night on Ebay. It's called the Moon Mixer. It's a weird little street rod with a space capsule shaped mixer. I looked it up to find pictures and found it's a variant of one of the kits I'm after: "Dr. Crooks Medicine Show". Check it out: http://coffincorner.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=completed&action=print&thread=15982
  22. I'd say 32 ford, 29 model A ford, 40 ford or the 64-66 mustang
  23. Looking good!!! I love beetles!
  24. I want one of these. Good work so far!
