  1. Joe seems to be on track there bro. If you want anything OTHER than a "Speedster" type of car, you'll need some type of A-Pillar post. The wrap around type of windshield wouldn't be too hard to do. But then, depending on your abilities, a ragtop would look nice too.
  2. Stu, Daddy-O! We need ta SEE what kinda brush ya got Bro, before we can tell wat it is!
  3. WoW! Nice conversion. I don't know if Olds actually made this body style, but you sure did it well. Looks good ta me!
  4. Niko, looking at your model, and knowing WHICH 57 chevy it is makes a differenc! You have made a silk purse from a sows ear! That ANCIENT Revell kit is almost as old as ME! You did a GREAT job on it! i ALWAYS enjoy seein how well you Euro guys are at building our cars!!!
  5. Try askin Steve Kohler overt Star Models. He sells R&R kits and i THINK Ray does a Vista cruiser. I don't recall what year it is, though.
  6. How cool! It's all greek to me, but i bet there are some guys who could hook somethin like this right up! GREAT tip.THANK YOU!
  7. I missed it the first time around. This time I'll get two. One for the wagon, and one to convert back to a fourdoor sedan. One of the guys in my club did it, and it wasn't all that hard ta do! It looked good too.
  8. VERY NICE Lo-Lo. Probably my most favorite japanese car. Looks good already!
  9. Oh Great Kahuna, WHATEVER your will is, shall be done! We are honored that you would go thru so much for us, your lowly minions! We wholeheartedly agree with ANY decision you desire! YOU are the ONLY reason WE are here! We THANK YOU for your desire to keep us fed and healthy in our addiction! THAT is WHY you ARE the GREAT KAHUNA!!! :D :D (Oh an are ya gonna be in Sylvania this year? It'sa REALLY nice place, you'll like it!)
  10. WOW!!! A VERY beautiful work! The entire thing is a work of art! VERY belevable! It would look GREAT in real life! :D
  11. WOW, just saw that Scale Repro's engine. Looks to be the same thing. Wonder if their copys of R&D's? Oh well, at least they're available again!
  12. Michelle, that was an R&D Unique engine casting in white metal. It's about 20 years old, and R&D has been gone for about 5/6 years now. E-Bay is the ONLY way you'll find one, unless somebody trades one off.
  13. And it'll be one of the VERY FEW Pro stock 50 Nash's you'll EVER see!!!!!! It's lookin GOOD Chuck!
  14. I'm kinda partial to Roy.
  15. Nawwww, more like a Don Garrett kit!
  16. Looks like he's serious there, Virge! Them surplus Hueys came in good fer somethin!!!! Look OUT!!!
  17. Get a hold of Jeff, Steve. he might be interested in casting it. It IS a nice lookin hood.
  18. The engine in AMT's 66 Nova kit is nice. The thing your gonna find maybe hard to come by is the valve covers. They might be available in some nascar chevy car/truck kits. but other than that, you just need a basic small block chevy.
  19. Dominik, That came out GREAT!!!! I had the pleasure of watchin this master being built. Jerry, the guy who mastered it, is a member of my club the DMCC, Jeff, of Motor City Resins who cast it,is a member also. It was a in-progress kinda thing and we got to see it come together from concept, to Master, to being cast in resin. Yours is the first BUILT one I've seen. I LIKE it!!!!
  20. Large scale model.
  21. I believe the whitewalls are Jo Han tires, the slicks are from old AMT kits. Sorry I can't be more specific.
  22. This is NOT Harry's game. Please refrain from putting your own pics in this thread UNLESS it's been ok'd please. This thread is for Harry's weekly R.O.M., UNLESS Harry ok's it. Hate to be the bummer, but it's ALWAYS been Harry's game. Jus sayin........
  23. Me too! MUCH more. These kits, being so good are simply the result of FOR ONCE, MODELERS!! Not just guys who build for the box art, but REAL guys who build for the sheer ENJOYMENT of it! These guys are a God send to Mobeus, an it sure would hurt Revell AND Amt/ERTL ta copy some of their ideas! Hopefully this IS a sign of good thinks to come from them!!!!!( NEVER hurts to listen to the guys who BUY and build their products!)
  24. Don't feel bad Wayne, I built 'em for 32 years and NEVER bought a NEW one. Couldn't afford one! So I know how ya feel!
