  1. Very interesting. I was just at my main HL yesterday, and they had nothing new at all.
  2. Btw, did you build the backdrop? Do you have a photo album for that?
  3. Looking good. I have bought this kit several times, for the motor, wheels, and other bits, but somehow have never managed to build it as a standalone kit. Great one tho.
  4. Nice, I do not recall the last time I seen this one box stock.
  5. great looking results
  6. Cool!
  7. For those that are having a tough time with the pictures, here is a link to the full build on Fotki. https://public.fotki.com/machman/in_progress_model_cars/texas-trouble/
  8. Thanks James, I am going to try and load some more up in a couple of hours. Thank you sir! I too need to read the bottle! LOL,
  9. Thanks Bruce, I rebuilt the rear end, and posted the finished car yesterday. I will post up a few more pics in the under glass section in the next couple of days.
  10. Unless they fully leak out, you might be able to decant for airbrush use.
  11. I just finished up my first one for 2019 yesterday, the are a couple little things that need to be added, but calling it done.
  12. Ugh, should have shopped before looking at the models, i need one. Please pm me the cost/ shipping. It was a great show, with lots of beautifully built models. The after ahow bbq was very enjoyable, with lots of engaging stories and conversation. I look forward to this all year. My sincere thanks to the Desert crew that puts on the event. Would like to see some more new faces in the future.
  13. You should be ok with Testors versions such as wet look,, but any other brands, i would test on spare sprue from the same kit.
  14. Great looking model. I never realized it was so low in horses.
  15. Ditto, I am starting to really have issues with 1/25th! LOL
  16. Some of the additions you are making are just so very imaginative.
  17. Looks like you are about to do this kit justice!
  18. There is also this one on Amazon. I made one similar from foam-board, cut to size to fit my window width. Total cost was less then $5. Then, used it as a flap, with strong tape across the bottom, and light low tack on the sides and top. I would keep it flapped down with hose attached(my hobby space is dedicated room), until needed, then open the window, pull the flap up into place, press the tape down, then paint. When down, pull the flap down, and close the window.
  19. Best representation of this kit built box stock I have seen.
