  2. Are you a plumber by trade, or are you getting the details from research on net? Years ago, I thought of doing a porta potty truck, but as I had not knowledge of the subject matter.... Great work!

Looking forward to pics and results. I miss going to this show.

  5. Good looking Caddy!
  6. Cool project
  7. Done properly, this could represent a really cool barn find that someone hot rods, but does very little to the body. Maybe where the paint looks bubbled, add rust powder/pigments, but otherwise, keep the rustic look.
  8. Very cool collection, wide range of scales
  9. Looks good, welcome to the hobby. Glad you found this forum.
  10. Cool project. I like that yippy shared your inspiration.
  11. Live and learn indeed. Just frustrated at mused as building time is a premium. Oh well, wanna get it right, so I will redo it. Maybe by Sunday.... Thanks for the comments.
  12. There are times when I am working on a project, that I swear I have a grey cloud hanging over me. I have been using purple power to strip paint for at least 20 years, no issues. A couple days ago, I tried to shoot some paint I the rear axle, and messed it up, so I dropped it in the purple pond. Tonight, I pull out this muck. You would think after thus many years, I would have heard, PP eats aluminum. The extend axle was eaten away, sooooo.....Time to redo the axle. What I had sat before red paint, after I rinsed it all off. What I had before paint what I found in the pond today
  13. Really sharp, nicely done!
  14. Really curious about this one.

  17. Unusual project, very nicely done.
  18. I went thru the parts, and did not catch the radiator, so I thought it would be like the Bathtub Buggy, where the radiator hose simply ford oon and hangs on space.
  19. It was a great show as usual. I look forward to it each year since first attending. Wish I could have mage it to the bbq.
  20. Cool, I am planning on this being this year's show rod build for me. I like yours. I was goung to go box stock, but not sure. I was thinking of wiring the motor, and putting in radiator at least.
