First, sorry to hear of your beloved Willow's passing. As for the Olds, that black paint looks very deep and smooth. The body trim and engine detailing look great. I like the stance.

I love these cars. I had the good fortune to purchase a new '05 Pontiac GTO, Holden Manero, that was based on these cars. I had owned El Caminos in the past and GM stopped offering them in '86 at a time when I didn't need a new car. When GM announced, they were going to offer the Ute version for sale thru their Pontiac dealers I was ready to trade and even had some people that wanted to buy my GTO. I held off since with GM nothing ever seems to move according to what they announce to the public. Well, it never happened, and I got to drive the GTO for nine years. The basic quality of the build of these cars, along with the fit and finish, was beyond what GM offered in most of the domestic vehicles at the time. I still miss that car.

This maybe truer than you think. Technology in use today by several different companies is used for what is often referred to as "Keep Full" where a company would often visit vendors to refill the inventory in the dispenser. The company that uses this technology can know remotely what the vending machine or tank of some product has in stock, level of use or sale in the past determine time frame so that they know whether or not there is a need for additional restocking or if there is sufficient inventory present so that they would not need to visit that sight.

So many are dying so young anymore. While not exactly a Parrot Head I have always enjoyed his music, and like many, sometimes the words would fit the occasion.

I understand. Sometimes the body work is more trouble than it's worth. As for paint, and especially automotive type like Dupli color, test it on some spruce first. I just jacked up the new Charger kit even though it was premiered the Perfect Match Inferno Red Met. didn't play nice. As for colors that is sort of a personal thing and depends on your mode sometimes.

Might hold the grill surround from the Charger against the Magnum body and just see how hard it would be to just graft the Charger nose part to the Magnum.

I agree, the way this kit goes together it offers many areas to add additional detailing.

I like the subject and the kit. I have one that stalled out a couple of years ago and would like to get back to it someday. I'll enjoy watching what you have in mind on this.

Great looking Chevelle. The detailing of the engine and interior look great as well.

The bottom wheels look like the Vega GT wheels from the '70's.

The handling after the paint has dried is something I'm concerned about. Installing bumpers and grills can require handling and maybe just using rubber gloves is the answer. Also, if any type of clear sealing spray that may or may not help with the finish appearance and durability.

Both beautifully built. Remembering the basic beginnings of these kits it's amazing how well they can be built. Remember when these first were released, they were a major leap forward from what we had to work with at the time.
