    Great looking paint color and finish. The trim all looks cleanly done. We can always look at something we built in the past and think we should have done this or that to the appearance. Anything you wanted to do here wouldn't take more than a minute or two without dismantling your build.

    Great looking Camaro and the color and stripes look good together. As for the decals breaking up on you, I have used a spray can product from Testors designed for this problem. With everything that has happened with Testors in the last couple of years this may no longer be in their line. I'm sure that others offer something similar for precoating decals.

    Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like how you did the engine and the stance. The 1:1 car was never appreciated for how good it was in an era of 396 Chevelles and 427 Impalas. Had a young customer whose parents got him a new '65 Turbo with the 4 speed in Lemon Yellow and Black interior. Living in the mountains it was pretty hard to keep up with if you know what I mean.

    Great looking paint finish and the color is about as close as you could get without ordering the exact color from somewhere. The nose stripe lays down nice and smooth looking.

    Start looking for Flame Masks. There are many out there and don't rule out multi layering the masks since you are planning to be covering the sides of the body.

    The local High School has a Charity Car Show every year. These are some of the vehicles there, but not all and many were still arriving at noon when we left.

    Like all the details you have added. The top and rear fabric cover look great, and the body side trim gives a different look to the body. What sort of clear metallic looking paint did you use?

    Try Googling them both for pictures. This may give you a better idea of the differences.

    Been busy with life so not much has happened with this until now. I'm adding a picture of the original Baja that I owned, and the picture was taken at pismo Beach around 1976. The little girl was my stepdaughter at the time. Her mother and I were uncomeatable to say the least and I have no idea of the little girls wear abouts. She was a very sweet young lady and I do hope her life has been rich and fulfilling for her. The interior is done and the colors and finishes pretty well match the Baja. The engine is ready to go into the chassis which is what I'm working on now. The rear fenders have been reshaped to match the ones on my Baja, and the fronts are very close.

    I agree with the '40 being one of the better Ford designs from the past. The classic black paint with the red wheels and interior appointments looks great.
