Great looking color and the fender flares have a smooth transition with the body. Nicely detailed engine.

Great clean looking build. Like the engine detailing.

Beautiful looking paint finishes and the colors make it look more like a road going vehicle than a computation model.

Maybe just a clear pearl topcoat?

Consider putting your tires in a cup of Super Clean AKA Purple Power. This will clean the tires with little to no effort and leaves a nice semi-gloss finish in the tire. I haven't had any long-term effects using this method.

Great looking color and paint finish. I remember when you started this some time ago, glad to see you finished it. Besides being on your friend's car, those wheels look great on this.

Great clean looking build. Like so many others, got a '76 Rally 1.6 for my wife, Big X here. She wanted one in the worst way, so I ordered her an Orange mt. with the custom interior. The cloth inserts were the same as a Caprice. Those wheels make it look like you should find a small block under the hood.

Beautiful looking Jag. Your efforts to correct the chrome trim look great. I like the wood graining, something I enjoy doing as well. The attention to details on the engine and the interior look very realistic.

Great looking build. Like the body style and the detailing you did under the front bonnet.

Like the body paint scheme.

Like the color and a great finish. Your efforts on this old tool kit look great.

Why would Canada be outlawing the plastic cutlery?

Great clean looking build and the colors look good together.

Beautiful looking Corvette. While the colors are reversed from what you would normally see here, I think this may even look better. The kit was available here several years ago, the tooling was changed to offer a '59-year model of the Corvette and I thought that the '58 was gone for good. The one I built was done in red with a white cove. Remember the trunk hinges being fiddly but otherwise a well-done kit.

Great looking paint finish and the decals look far better than what comes in the kit.

Enjoyed watching your build, and the finishes all look great. Like the showroom style. The colors look just like the way you would see one on the street.

Great looking color and finish, all looks good with the way you did the interior.

Great looking paint color and finish. Like the lightly "shaved" look. The stance and the wire wheels enhance the look.

What did you see on the road today?
espo replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Something somewhere had to be going on yesterday. I was doing some running around in the morning and was on a section of hiway several times and each time there was a flatbed roll back type truck with a classic car on it. The first time the car on back was a '57 Chevrolet two door post car with 210 series trim. Great looking red paint, the downside was it showed questionable body work done in the past. About an hour later on the same stretch of hiway another flatbed truck and this time he had a '70's Plymouth Duster also done in red with all the black stripes. -
Ours was a GM family. All my uncles and aunts had Chevrolets. Base models all with the old Blue Flame and a three speed. Few even had a radio and white walls were out of the question as they cost too much. I was one of the most miserable gearheads growing up. All that said the cars I recall were all dead reliable and other than regular service they would often see 100,000 miles with zero problems. Would be interesting to find out how your car burned all its exhaust valves and was still running. I do like your solution to your problem. Looking forward to your build on your old car.

Now you know all you have to do when you want some time off. Just have a friend call your work and complain about your attitude.

1961 FordGalaxie Police car? Lights, decals & body?
espo replied to mopargreg's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Can't help you with the body, but I think most of the Police Lights and such can be found in the Revell '48 Ford coupe model. I know the lights for the rood match what is in the kit. For any spotlights maybe someone can help you with the spotlights in the Galaxy '48 Chevrolet kits. -
Beautiful looking GTO. The big chunky metal flake looks good with the bands of color.
