  1. Great looking paint finish. Nice bumpers and window trim.
  2. Great looking color and paint finish. Chopping this top had to be fun.
  3. Great looking paint work, and it took me a minute to notice the Tri-Color paint job. The trim all looks cleanly done. The hub cab detailing even looks OEM.
  4. Great looking color combination.
  5. Great looking Continental. Like the color and interior trim.
  6. Wonder if the chassis from either the early '50's Chevrolet 3100 or the '49 Ford F-1 would be a viable basic chassis?
  7. Really liking seeing the slant six and your chassis detailing, and exhaust look great.
  8. Great looking color and the engine detailing looks good. I like the picture of your garage and your other cars as well.
  9. Both paint jobs look great, I am partial to the Marine Blue, but the shade of Gold is nice as well. I combined the front end of one of these kits with the '66 El Camino kit to make a model of an El Camino I owned years ago. See my Avatar for an idea of how that turned out.
  10. Thank you for posting these pictures. As always, the photography is outstanding and really enjoy the informative photo layouts.
  11. I have used several different glues for windows and such, but lately I have started using Revell's new Contacta Clear and like the little brush under the lid as well. CabDriver suggested the double-sided tape used in bookmaking I it sounds like something worth trying.
  12. Great looking paint treatment.
  13. Ya I'm far too familiar with the CHP's style of catching speeders. I had a California driver's license from 1963 thru 1996 when we moved to Kansas. Kansas doesn't usually use the freeway one ramps in the same manner as California and often use small aircraft to spot speeders far off. I infect lived in Sacramento prior to moving here and the main training facility is located there. Pretty common to see groups of officers in training riding in a close group of motor cyclists with a training officer. There are or were a couple of large intersections along I-70 where you would see as much as a half a dozen Mustang pursuit cars with door shields only lines up on the on-ramp waiting for someone going 66 mph. The KHP tends to sit out in the open in the middle divider on the freeway. I think they may be trying to slow people down by making their presents known. When they pull out on the rode it is to nail someone that probably should be. Hwy 435 is the major highway that sort of encircles the KC Metro on both the Kansas side as well as Mo. Ks has it posted at 70 in the north south section, and you had better be in the slower lanes if that is all the faster that you are going. I usually do 75 mph where I'm not crowding anyone else, and they are passing me like I'm tied to a tree. The hiding in plan site thing took me a while to get used to but I'm fine with it and in some ways, I think it is more effective in slowing traffic than seeing how many tickets they can write.
  14. Great save and I like the USPO theme. The seats look really cool.
  15. Great looking color and finish. Like the theme and the pumpkin does look like Charlie.

    Miura in yellow

Great looking build. This car has been one of those dream cars to me after seeing and hearing one years ago. The engine sounds like it's ripping the air as the owner would take it up in 1000 RPM increments. Just when you think it's time to up shift, he would floor it. You could still hear it when it was over a quarter of a mile down the road. Ya, I was impressed to say the least.

    71 GTX

Great looking color and cleanly trimmed.
  18. Great looking build. Great attention to engine detailing on a subject you just don't see often.
  19. I agree with Chaz on the color and the finish looks great. Nicely detailed engine.
  20. Great looking finishes. Nice to see a Flat Head done like this. Enjoyed watching you build the frame and everything else to bring this together.
  21. Beautiful finishes on both. I like seeing a stock model A every once in a while.
  22. Beautiful looking finishes and the colors look very much like some that they offered in that era. Very impressive interior shapes and finishes.
  23. Great looking body, and you're correct, Pontiac should have been allowed to build their version of the El Camino.
  24. Great looking color combination. Nice clean looking body trim.
  25. Glad to see this may be back on the bench. I enjoyed watching the body mods on this.
