Had a big fall on Saturday trying to chip the ice off of the front steps and walkway. I was stepping off of the bottom step of three when I lost my footing and went over backwards hitting my head on the top step and a couple of the others as well going down onto the sidewalk. I don't remember crawling into the garage, but that is where I regained contiguous at the base of the steps into the house from the garage. My wife was having lunch with one of her old coworkers and I had to call her that I had fallen. She called a couple of our neighbors who came over to check on me while she was driving home. That's when I was told I was bleeding from the back of my head and had a bad cut across the back of my head. One neighbor put me in his truck and meet my wife at a local emergency medical center just as it was closing. She then took me to the emergency room at the hospital. Mild concussion and seven staples later I was released and sent home. I'm just now getting my equilibrium back and still have a roaring head ach. The blood on the front steps looks like a crime scene, should keep any "porch pirates" away though.

Need suggestions for Chrome paint for touchups

Another product to consider, the Gundam Marker EX pens work well, and I have had good lock with their Chrome pen. -

"Rules" are made to be broken, especially if it looks better the way you did it. -
What did you see on the road today?

Original California black license plates might mean this has been a long-time resident. -

Beautiful and realistic looking patina. Remember many pickups in this state in the past. -
I agree with everyone else on the color and the finish looks great. The small block Ford engine is a more realistic choice if this was a real car anyway. The standard steel wheels and black walls look good on this.

Beautiful looking muscle cars. Like the strong body colors and smooth finishes.
-
Beautiful looking paint jobs and colors. All cleanly detailed and like the competition vibe of your builds.

Like the "three window" body design. Great idea for interior textures.
-
Like sedan deliveries in general, and this has to be at the top of the list. I'll be looking over your shoulder on this build.

Like the concept of a Mercury/Ranchero. Your build looks like a mildly modified version of something Mercury might have been able to sell. Great body color and finish. The wheel and tire combination along with the stance would have been fun to have. -
Beautiful paint color and finish. Clean body chrome trim. Realistic looking interior and engine detailing.

Going to follow this and your Beaumont build both.

Like how you did the interiors and the piping on the seats.

Revell: Stranger Things; Billy´s Chevy Camaro
espo replied to Luc Janssens's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
That may have been the case on this car in this movie. Check Google Image Search and look at the photos of real cars that are registered and driven for real, and you will notice that Chevrolet mounted their offset license plates on the passenger side in front. This was true not only on the Cameros but on any of their models with an offset front license plate. Why the staff providing the vehicles for the movie mounted the license in this way? Only they could answer that question. -
I saw this in the background of your El Camino post and was wondering about it as well. Resin bodies can sometimes be a challenge since they are often thicker than the plastic bodies they may be based upon. The paint colors and finishes look great and like the B-B-Q livery. I like the cleanly done chrome trim and the rally wheels.

Great looking paint color and the bumper and exhaust changes look more road worthy. Like the engine and chassis detailing.

Gilmore Petrol Willys: a phantom 41 Willys sedan-delivery creation

Beautiful paint finish and color. Like the phantom body style. The interior is really clean looking, and the color goes perfectly with the body color. -
Your time was well spent on this El Camino. I like the clean stock appearing finishes. Great paint finishes and colors. The interior in your build thread looked great as well. The chrome trim can be a real challenge on this model since it is really light and hard to follow.

Great concept for the chassis and drive train.

Like the bed configuration compared to some of the other kits of ramp trucks. -

Looks like a great Camaro kit to build off of. Only rivet counters will notice that the front license plate should be mounted on the passenger side on the front bumper. -
AMT 1953 Ford Pickup

Great looking like a brand new '53 Ford ready to go to work. The detailing of the welding cart looks like something they should have included in the kit. -
