Beautiful paint color and finish. The chrome trim is all cleanly done and the chassis detailing makes up for the basic design. The GTO was the car that really launched the Uniroyal Tiger Paws redline tires.

I have only seen photos of these early Fords done in this fashion, but your model looks very correct to those photos. I like the clean finishes on your build.

Clean sharp looking paint and trim detailing goes a long way on these great looking builds.

Chevy Nova '76 (inspired by a TV car as featured in "The Americans")

Great looking stock Nova. The paint looks nice and smooth, and the brown shade was a popular color at that time. Trim is cleanly done. -

Like how your build looks and the welding cart looks great. I do remember seeing guys that did mobile welding years ago that had brackets that mounted their tanks to the inside of the beds, but this looks far more useful in reality. -

Did a model of a Chevy Prototype, in my mind anyway, with the W engine. I had to install the engine after the body was mounted on the frame for just the reason you're running into now. -
Great looking attention to engine and interior details.

What did you see on the road today?

Most people today are too young to remember just how well built and long lasting these cars were. -
Do you know how much they were asking for this. Had a new '72 Nova SS350 4 speed and it was one of those you always regrate selling.

We leased the GMC version of this model back then. Never missed a beat and was a great handling car as well. Only issue had to do with an assembly line problem. My wife said she would be driving down the highway and the power seat would suddenly try and nail her to the steering wheel, she's 5'10'. Never happened to me but I had the dealer look at it. Seems that the wiring for the power seat was routed wrong and under some conditions when driving the wiring was grounding or something and it would activate the power seat motor and go full forward. Nothing after that was fixed.

Average folks doing car stuff...

And I used to be one of those that thought annual vehicle inspections was as overreaction. Along with an owner competence test they seem like something to be considered. -
Great looking paint color and finish. Like the engine details here.

my 2024 creations of builds, built of creations

I have enjoyed your body creations and the way you build them. -
Great looking paint work and tail stripes. The picture of the engine looks like you have that detailing pretty well figured out. The chrome body trim is an area that there are many ways to do. While I'm sort of a chrome foil type, I have seen many builders here that use different type of spray paint with amazing looking finishes. Maybe try a couple of different styles of detailing the chrome trim and see what works best for you.

Great looking paint finishes and cleanly detailed.

Beautiful paint finishes and detailing. The extra detailing you added really adds realism to the appearance. I had never considered this kit before since I usually build '50's and '60's types. I'll have to reconsider that after seeing this build.

So many great visions of the '32 Ford and like the different finishes. -
Beautiful looking use of color and finishes. I like the attention to the fine detailing of the interiors and drive trains on your builds.
