  1. Go Chiefs, need I say more.
  2. I consider myself fortunate to have visited Victoria BC a couple of times in my life. One of the prettiest, and cleanest places ever. Enjoyed a cup of coffee sitting on the steps overlooking the harbor and watching the boats and sea planes land and takeoff.
  3. Some major plastic surgery here. Great paint work and like the Hearse look on the roof treatment. With that engine you would never get out of low gear in the prestation to the Cemetary.
  4. Great looking paint color and finish. I like how you didn't use the tuner wing on the trunk, the natural body lines look better to my eye anyway. The chassis is cleanly done and the interior looks good as well.
  5. Amazing chassis detailing.
  6. Great looking color and like how you did the interior. I'm slowly working on the '64 Nova SS kit and it has most of the engine and exhaust parts from this kit included.
  7. Your mention of the lack of respect for skilled tradesman reminds me of another experience many years ago. The pull starter on my lawn mower broke and needed to be replaced. This is a spring-loaded affair and something you wouldn't really want to do if you were not experienced since one slip and that spring could take a finger or two. We had just moved to an area that at the time was still pretty rural and the repair place was in the back of a farm supply store. I was the only guy in the place in slakes and a button-down shirt. The person I talked to was almost apologetic for what he would charge me since he said it would take him just a few minutes. My reply was that I was paying for his expertise and thanked him for the job he did. I'm sure he saved me from curtain injury to myself.
  8. A couple of years ago we moved to downsize our home, and the garage became a cramped two car from the oversized three car. While trying to back in on my side so that I could open the door between our cars I had a close encounter with the garage door frame. The dealer wanted $2000 + to repair and said they would have to remove the door skin to be sure I didn't damage the guard beams inside the door. There was hardly a wrinkle in the door skin. Another independent body shop was within a couple of hundred dollars of the dealers estimate as well. At that time, I remembered a small one man shop in the next town that had done some paint touch up for me on a pickup and removed the spoiler on another car that I had bought a few years before and he was a fraction of the cost, and the work was done perfectly each time. I had to wait a couple of months to get my car in, but it was done within a week, and the paint match was perfect and still is today. All for $400 and I think you know where I would go if I ever needed anything done again. By the way his shop is immaculate and so was my car when I picked it up.
  9. I agree, but the problem is finding someone with the skill set to do the repair without using a 55 gal. drum of Bondo.
  10. Don't rule out the Farrari -Prugna color.
  11. Great looking color and finish.
  12. Look forward to following your build here. The picture you are using for a reference looks just like a neighbor's car from when I was in high school. Same colors inside and out but I think his had the hub caps.
  13. Beautiful looking builds. I also used the same method for the side trim on the Aero Sedan I built. Would still like to have an opportunity to build more of these.
  14. Congratulations on your well-deserved award and recognition for this build.
  15. Hi Erik. What are the possibilities of the coupe and sedan delivery kits being reintroduced? Also, the aero sedan without the wood trim?
  16. I have only built the Aero Sedan and thought it was great. Would love to do another along with the coupe and the delivery.
  17. Send Rustoliumn a heated letter about their product line since taking over Testor's.
  18. Sadly, many of the news coverages I have seen on TV show many vehicles that have been burned. More than a few interesting older cars and trucks along with several that you can tell they were of a special interest type prior to the fire.
  19. Around here that seems to be the way they keep fixing the craters in the roadway. They think it gives them job security since they never run out of work.
  20. Great looking paint finish and color. The interior colors go well with the body. Like the stance.
  21. Great looking basic build. Like the 4-cylinder engine.
  22. Beautiful paint finish and color. The engine detailing looks great. The chopped body just looks right as does the stance.
  23. Beautiful looking finishes. The body and interior colors go together so well. Like the rear seat cover.
  24. Enjoyed following your build and the way you made everything come together. The chassis and engine setup along with the body and suspension all look very accurate to a real machine. Beautiful paint color and finish. Like the interior details.
  25. Great looking Nomad and like the custom paint work.
