  1. Why not if you like the color go for it. On the shelf no one will know the build order but you.
  2. If you're putting it up for a vote I'd go with the factory Rally wheels but either would look good. Great looking body color and stripes.
  3. Your manifold looks far more realistic now. How are you planning to handle to hood clearance issues ?? I like the Ford Thunder Bolt style, but there are many other options including having the carbs. out in the breeze.
  4. Beautiful builds, especially the Foose truck. That looks like about six months worth from my bench.
  5. My building sugar rush is fueled by Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
  6. Both builds look outstanding. I agree, would like to see more.
  7. In a restaurant I tell the waiter that the chief should chase the cow twice around the kitchen and it will be just right.
  8. I was in Hobby Lobby last week and they're carrying the pens again, they may be able to get the refills.
  9. The Creeper looks perfect. The trailer is really interesting, do you have any photos of the build up on that ? I'm especially interested in the duel axles and their suspension for a future project.
  10. I like the grill idea. The tail lights are at an odd angle to my eye. The dash is a great idea and the tail gate looks good.
  11. Very sharp looking build, I like the colors,
  12. While true it seems that I have at least one of everything they have on the shelf. I'm not bragging its just that the stock just never seems to change. I find it frustrating because I have a 40 % off coupon in my hot little hand and I want to use it, I just can't.
  13. The mark downs at Hobby Lobby here is the same as a 40% off coupon. No real deals yet.
  14. Any pictures would be appreciated.
  15. In the KC Metro area, and Johnson County in particular, parking issues don't seem to be a gender problem so much as a total lack of depth perception and the ability to operate a motor vehicle in general. There seems to be a disproportionate number of large SUV vehicles operated with only one person. They don't seem to parked so much as docked or abandoned. I have seen sub compacts that manage to get a tire in three adjoining parking spots. And no mater where you park to get away from these idiots when you come back one of them has parked so close next to you it is imposable to get in your car. I hope a run away shopping cart rolls into each and every one of them.
  16. Great looking Mini Truck. The Firebird front end looks like it belongs there.
  17. I really like this. The additions of the roof rack and the side boards are great.
  18. The paint finish looks great.
  19. I think that car was profiled in one of the car mags a couple of months ago.
  20. Depending on what I'm trying to do I'll use a couple of different "pads" to set the roof on. A clean Micro Fiber towel works well most of the time, but if I need to have the body at an odd angle I'll use a foam rubber that I bought years ago. The foam is about a foot long and is shaped with two different sized dips on top. When foiling it holds the body at a perfect angle so that I can lay down the foil without trying to hold the body in position at the same time, it also works great when installing the windows for the same reason. I think I got it at the local hobby shop, but it has been a long time ago.

    Dodge 330

Man you wouldn't loose that in a parking lot. Very bright and smooth paint. I also like the Carbon Fiber hood. Nice clean engine compartment.
  22. Great build. The paint is perfect, and you got the stance just right. The wheel color choice reflects the current trend in the "Street Rod" world.

    Mazda RX-7

Great looking build. The paint is nice and smooth, the interior is very well done.
  24. iBorg makes a very good point about prep on a Resin body. I would offer an additional idea when sanding, do it away from your work bench. Consider stepping out side even. The "dust" created when sanding Resin bodies will get all over the other parts in the build. This can and will cause issues when painting these parts. Your frame looks great.
  25. Nice color choice. I notice a some body issues you might want to look at before you get to the final coats of paint. I notice that the roof has a dimple in the center where the dome light is below on the inside as well as the rear view mirror just behind the windshield. There is a very visible mold line at the top of the "C" pillar. From what I can see of the interior it looks great.
