  1. With those teeth she looks like she could eat corn on the cob thru a picket fenced.
  2. You might have better luck if you post your needs on the Wanted section on this forum.
  3. Another great stock build. The Side Boards are a great idea, the kits plastic boards just didn't get it.
  4. Great looking stock build. I agree on the Blue Dots and will have to stop off at a fabric store next time I'm in town.
  5. Beautiful Full Dress Impala. This has all the factory do dads. I like how you got the stitching on the interior to stand out. The Lake Pipes are very convincing.
  6. This looks just perfect stock build. I like the Day Two engine upgrades and the Greyhound "Leaper" is the perfect touch.
  7. Looks very nice. Still looks like a fresh build.
  8. The more door Cuda had it's picture on the cover of Hot Rod along with a couple of other interesting 1:1 builds. Very disappointed that they had nothing inside about the car. They did have two interesting cars that may be worth looking at just for inspiration. A '69 Camaro that had a Corvair roof and many other styling ideas. The one I liked was a '64 Tempest two door wagon. Far more went into that than you would think.
  9. Bill, Great info on the wiring. Your Tic is creeping me out.
  10. Very nice looking. The wheels are period perfect also. The Ansen Sprints were very popular at that time.
  11. Looks great. Do you have any more pictures ??
  12. Beautiful build, so realistic looking. The fit and finish is perfect. I like the wood bed flooring.
  13. The chassis looks great. Were the "Glass Packs" a kit part ??
  14. Beautiful paint job. You should be proud of that. I have used the Tamiya white putty for a long time and had no issues if that helps.
  15. Well it looks like you just raised the bar for engine wiring. That food coloring in Future is a great idea for window tint, I'll be trying that on my next build. I also like the interior treatment, a little on the cushy side for the subject, but very nice all the same. Look forward to following this build.
  16. Great color and I like they wheels. You have great deal of patience, I have turned lesser problems turn a build into donor kit.
  17. I like both styles. There used to be a 1:1 kit very much like the Beach Rat with the top with a little less chop. donb mentioned the Rat Patrol TV series. I remember the setting was WWII African Desert with Jeeps. Both great builds and look forward to your "Show Manx" .
  18. Beautiful looking build.
  19. Great detail work on this build. I like the fender cover for the Air Cleaner, little things like this really adds to the presentation. I also had the same decal problems and went thru a great deal of Sovaset to get them to lay down on the hood. The Orange still seemed to show thru the white also.
  20. Outstanding build in every way. As others have related past encounters with big Impalas. In the fall of '67 I was ordering a '68 full size Bel Air coupe. On the showroom floor they had a Marina Blue '67 Impala 427 SS with the Pearl White bucket seat interior. So yes that is very much a valid color combo and it looked just as great in 1:1.
  21. The Red Oxide primer with the Arden really captures the look. Very clean well detailed engine.
  22. Great looking build. I agree with Bobdude on the wheels, they do look best with the as cast look.
  23. Really captures the look of these outstanding race cars. Just a thought on the hood. Have you considered opening the vents on the hood bubble ??
  24. Why not if you like the color go for it. On the shelf no one will know the build order but you.
  25. If you're putting it up for a vote I'd go with the factory Rally wheels but either would look good. Great looking body color and stripes.
