Great looking build. Kind of a dressed up stocker. Did you use the stock flathead ? I built one last year as kind of a Hot Rod Muffler Shop type build. This is a really great kit to work with.

I agree with you on the metal axles, to much like going back in time. I agree with others that have felt Revell may have been concerned with the strength of the front control arms as they are very small but in scale. Nice job on filling the frame notches. I also saw the 5.0 F100 build and agree with that idea.

This turned out amazing. I thought the first photo was the inspiration for your build.

"Volumetrically - Abundant people" I just can't stop laughing. I think your idea to stay with the original roof height would be best. Like you said the proportions start getting out of hand and then the roof looks like you chopped it, unless that's what you want for the appearance.

Excellent idea. That adds a lot visual fidelity since this area is noticeable on the 1:1 car.

I like the concept especially the Arden Heads. You have been there and seen these racers up close, but I wonder about the Blower Scoop. In my mind I would think that since the Hood Scoop is taking cold air from the base of the Windshield wouldn't the Blower Scoop be facing that direction rather than toward the hotter under hood air ?

I think it would be a great idea. For suggestions I would measure your door width. From the picture it might be just a little narrow. What I mean by that is if you look at a four door vehicle and a two door vehicle from the side. Usually the four door will have narrower doors and the two door will have a wider door to get into and out of the rear. In the picture your drawing looks like the front door on a four door car. Now it is only the way it looks but you can measure to be sure and adjust as you feel is right.

I have had Rat problems in the past also. Just go to any hardware store and buy a few boxes of Dicon and place them around any openings to the outside. If you have cats or dogs I wouldn't use it since it is very powerful.

As others have pointed out this very clean and well detailed. I like how you did the emblem and the little decals under the hood. A shame about the tail light lenses.

Great looking model. I'll bet the original served you well. I also agree wit the others the White with a Red interior has a very classic look that will never go out of style.

Beautiful interior the wood trim looks perfect and the chrome really makes it all stand out.

I like the build style. I agree with Tulio, it's nice to see a Ford in a Ford once in a while. Did the manifold and carbs come from Harts Parts ?

Very nice looking. There is something special in building a vehicle that you have owned. I built a model of my '67 El Camino 396 & 4-speed that I bought new and put over 100K on it. Brought back a lot of good memories. I hope you had the same experience.

Excellent job getting the appearance and primer spots like your fathers car. If you should want to make another model as the 1:1 build progresses you might think about the Revell '67 Camaro kit as a bases and do the very minor modifications needed to make it a '68.

Beautiful looking build. I have always thought this was the best looking Cougar body style. Your color choice looks perfect with the white interior. Like the others I had a friend with a Dark Green/ dark Saddle interior XR7 with the 390 and auto. You did a great car justice.
