  1. Revell doesn't offer any real information as to where to glue the body and chassis together. As I recall I glued the leading edge of the front inner fender to the inside of the body along with the sides of the chassis to the inside of the body. I suggest gluing the front inner fenders and the radiator support to the chassis first and allow them to dry for at least 24 hours. I used small adjustable clamps to hold everything in place. After this had made a permanent bond I then glued the side edges of the chassis to the body and again used the adjustable clamps. There is no real area where the rear of the chassis can be glued to the body. This is done by gluing the Rear Bumper part #98 to the body and the chassis to the bumper. That's how I did it anyway. I also would like to know of any better options for the future.
  2. Check in the Aftermarket/Resin area. There are several casters that offer a resin tudor sedan bodies. The roof line is a very different shape from a hardtop.
  3. Another great build. You really have your paint jobs dialed in. Is this based on the Revell or the AMT kit?? The hood just looks like the AMT.
  4. Great Pro Street build. The chassis blends perfectly, and the paint is super smooth.

    '70 Cuda

Great looking build. Nicely detailed engine. "Plum Crazy" was my favorite of the High Impact colors.

    I'm Back!

Great looking build. I have to know where you got the door decals. As a child my parents would ditch me in a summer camp every summer so I wouldn't be underfoot. It just so happens that I was sent to Camp Highlands on Plum Lake in Sayner Wisconsin. The great city of Sayner, at that time, consisted of a Bait and Tackle shop at the landing. Up the hill was the Fire Department and a grocery store that also sold tackle. A small restaurant and two Beer Bars. The town was so small they didn't even have a Stop Sign.
  7. Very interesting concept, but the I think the side intakes where to direct air to cool the rear mounted engine in the Ferrari. With the engine in the front is it really needed other than a styling feature ?? I like how you combined the two dashboards.
  8. Very nice paint finish. I didn't realize that was the old Monogram kit. That makes it that much more impressive.
  9. Plastruct makes quarter and half round stock in various sizes.
  10. The chassis weathering looks very realistic.
  11. You might see if the firewall can be pushed back inside the cowl or even notch the cowl to clear. I have seen where some builders are even creating a flat firewall in place of the kit's.
  12. Looks perfect. All it needs is a load of Mason Jars filled with White Lightening.
  13. Beautiful build. The Cragers always look right on Mopars .
  14. I would never have thought of building a fenderless '40, but it sure looks good. Did you widen the rear portion of the body ??
  15. I think this is a great idea. The only fitment problem I see is at the rear of the engine. Not sure how much clearance you have at the firewall, but it looks like the Viper is taller in the firewall area than the Buick. The Viper intake manifold looks like it would stand taller than the Buick distributer would.
  16. I really like the paint and color. The hood looks perfect. Where did you get your Valve Covers ?? I would like to get a set or two.
  17. Beautifully detailed engine, far greater than any I have seen. The paint is outstanding. Only MoPar could pull off those colors and make it look right.
  18. AMT offered the same basic body style in 1:25th but with the Mont Carlo SS front end. It has been reissued several times and shouldn't be to hard to find. The draw back would be the front end wouldn't match the "stock" front end.
  19. Turned out perfect. All the trim is clean and sharp.

    AMT 36 Ford

Very nice old style custom. I like the "Dagmars" that you used for bumpers.
  21. I think it turned out great. I followed your build and I liked your engine idea and how you made it all fit.
  22. Beautiful paint job. I wish I could have found a job where I could work on a model.
  23. This looks like one that should get done.
  24. I had a Bradly GT II years ago. Trust me there is a big difference between a model car and a kit car.
  25. Those look like the gag glasses that the old boy on one of the Burger or Pizza TV commercial ware. I have had to use glasses for several years now. I also had excellent vision as a young man. I now use Varilux lenses and the gradual change in the lens really isn't that noticeable. When I first got glasses is when I suddenly remembered trees have individual leafs on them.
