  1. You get what you pay for. The Italeri kits are definitely worth the cost of entry, IMO. Also they're the only game in town for anything post 1975 (Moebius Internationals excluded).
  2. The hobby shop that I bought my FLC from had the AMT Peterbilt priced lower than the Italeri box. Although, they didn't have both on the shelf at the same time...
  3. Those wheels look to be from a Shelby Mustang. This kit should have shallow and deep Cragars. Those are the correct tires, though. Same ones as in the '66 Chevelle flip nose. ?
  4. Well that's unfortunate. ??
  5. The engine in the Blazer kit is really weirdly proportioned, almost like it is 1:22 scale or something. Bigger than the 1:25 it is supposed to be.
  6. Seems to be someone has done this Bronco in resin, but I can't remember who...
  7. Are you at liberty to disclose other building options in the kit, Rob? ?
  8. Does anyone happen to have one of these kits they could share pictures of the instructions? ?
  9. Hey Casey, maybe this thread and the other one should be merged? ?
  10. Does anybody know anything about the Ertl diecast chassis trucks? From what I can tell the Volvo N10 is a 1980-90 and has a Volvo TD100 engine. The Peterbilt is a 359 and has a V8 engine, but I don't know what year it would be.
  11. Blasphemy! ?
  12. Have I been summoned? ?
  13. I'm hoping that since Round 2 has the license the Superliner will finally be issued with Mack badging it's never had.
  14. Thanks, I'll note that clarification! ?
  15. Woohoo!
  16. All your questions are answered in my article. ? https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/amt_mpc_action_line
  17. Moebius has held a GM license before/still, development could have already happened. ?‍♂️
  18. The A26 engine currently offered by Navistar is a MAN derivative, too.
  19. Yes, 5-speed Getrag. The 4-speed was the SM465. It was so much taller than the Getrag that it needed to have an extra trim piece on the floor to cover it!
  20. Not only that, the transmission in the kit is the oddball Getrag transmission that was offered at first.
  21. Recent trawl of Stevens International shows: AMT-1229 1/25 1977 Ford Surfer Van $32.95 AMT-1251 1/25 1953 Studebaker Starliner Car in Collectible Tin $39.99 AMT-1252 1/25 USA-1 Chevy Silverado Monster Truck $35.95
  22. Iron Duke would be the 2.5L I4; the GM 122 (from the Cavalier) would be the 2.0L. Wiki says it was in the S-10... ?‍♂️
  23. What about the engine from the MPC Cavalier?
  24. I have posted this article on my website and have tweaked the article some. I can't edit the original post anymore, so here's a link: https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/revell_ford_trucks ?
