  1. We're always so quick to complain about the bad experiences but I want to tell about a great experience I've been having the past couple of weeks with an eBay seller. It started out as him having two items listed that I wanted to buy, one BIN and one auction. I asked if he could combine shipping and he agreed. I bought the BIN, paid full price, then won the auction and paid full price. He sent me a refund for the difference in shipping costs. Then we went back and forth for more parts he had (Italeri trucks) and I bought more. When I contacted him again inquiring about a part missing, he found it right away and was ready to ship it out that day, but he found even more stuff I was interested in so those are getting tossed in as well. ?
  2. Step one: convert the ProStar into the LT, tool up a Cummins X15. See how well a kit of what's on the road right now sells. ?
  3. https://www.sprue.xyz/articles/revell-custom-chevy-van ?
  4. I've experienced this with an MPC Bronco, molded in blue.
  5. The issue with the blue truck on the cover as well as the combo set with the '98 F-150 have the stock engine.
  6. Morgan Automotive Detail has Mercury conversion parts for the 65-66 trucks.
  7. I see all kinds of LoneStars, new and old, ProStars, and LTs. ?‍♂️
  8. I asked a Korean co-worker if he can translate it for me, will advise. ?
  9. And Star Trek. And trucks.... ?
  10. Don't forget the Lindberg '37 Fords!
  11. Exactly my point, Luc! Italeri kits are expensive and these will be priced accordingly. My local shop has the Freightliner and container trailer in the AMT boxes for $74 and the Peterbilt in the Italeri box for the same. I imagine they'll have these two at a similar price
  12. You get what you pay for. The Italeri kits are definitely worth the cost of entry, IMO. Also they're the only game in town for anything post 1975 (Moebius Internationals excluded).
  13. The hobby shop that I bought my FLC from had the AMT Peterbilt priced lower than the Italeri box. Although, they didn't have both on the shelf at the same time...
  14. Those wheels look to be from a Shelby Mustang. This kit should have shallow and deep Cragars. Those are the correct tires, though. Same ones as in the '66 Chevelle flip nose. ?
  15. Well that's unfortunate. ??
  16. The engine in the Blazer kit is really weirdly proportioned, almost like it is 1:22 scale or something. Bigger than the 1:25 it is supposed to be.
  17. Seems to be someone has done this Bronco in resin, but I can't remember who...
  18. Are you at liberty to disclose other building options in the kit, Rob? ?
  19. Does anyone happen to have one of these kits they could share pictures of the instructions? ?
  20. Hey Casey, maybe this thread and the other one should be merged? ?
  21. Does anybody know anything about the Ertl diecast chassis trucks? From what I can tell the Volvo N10 is a 1980-90 and has a Volvo TD100 engine. The Peterbilt is a 359 and has a V8 engine, but I don't know what year it would be.
  22. Blasphemy! ?
  23. Have I been summoned? ?
  24. I'm hoping that since Round 2 has the license the Superliner will finally be issued with Mack badging it's never had.
  25. Thanks, I'll note that clarification! ?
