  1. And here we are rolling into 2022 and they're still in service.
  2. My first ride (home from the hospital) was in a '79 with a four speed. They could be had with a Borg Warner T18 or a New Process 435. I think my dad's had the T18.
  3. Coming to a hobby shop near you in December... ?
  4. The Italeri Opel Blitz is also a good base for the Revell '41 Chevy and AMT '55-'57 Chevy.

  7. I found this on Facebook but I have no idea where it came from.
  8. Now how many of these can Round 2 reissue with the stamp art? ?
  9. It will fit, but the GMC cabs don't have the same chrome trim and the marker lights are of a different design.
  10. These are screenshots from the weekly Saturday show. Early on in the design process the decision was made to skip right over the Gen 6 cars as it made the most financial sense. They wanted to be able to have a brand new, never available before product to launch at the Daytona 500. IF someone was to fund the tooling, they'd be all for doing the Gen 6 cars, however it doesn't fit in their plans for the next few years. Besides, if they had done the Gen 6 car instead of the Gen 7, folks would complain anyway! ?
  11. Ordered both sets! ?
  12. The Gen 6 car is pretty much off the table from SJR for the foreseeable future.
  13. They lied to us! ? https://salvinosjrmodels.com/store/r-ngcc2022ro/
  14. The fuel filler was moved in '71. The nose extension occured in '72 so AMC could fit their inline six in.
  15. It's the Monogram kit with the MPC wheels and bumper guard. Right down to the ill-fitting hood. ?
  16. And on the flipside I had a parcel ship from Corona, CA to Hermon, ME in four days. ?
  17. Are fixed chassis the norm out there? All of the ones I've hauled and that my company owns are adjustable from 20' to 53'.
  18. The chassis is the same under all Monogram/Salvinos JR GM kits from 82-92ish.
  19. The DM hood with still be shorter than the R. You might need two of them to make one R-length hood.
  20. From what I've been told by retailers is the container shortage is in a bit of a feedback loop as they're in such high demand that they're going empty straight back to Asia to be reloaded instead of hitting refurb ports in South America. We're probably going to end up seeing lots of broken containers in the near future...
  21. ?‍♂️ The real J2000 had MTs, that's where I got confused! ?
  22. The rear tires are from the Revell pro street kits: J2000, Beretta, Corvette.
  23. I checked mine and it's the same as the box art as well. Email Jim jim@salvino.us or Chris chris@salvino.us and they'll get the correct body to you. If you try to contact them through the website it won't get to them in a timely fashion.
  24. The MPC Jeepster has a Buick V6 and a manual.
  25. All of the Model King releases with Moebius as well as the '57 Ford with Revell have excellent box art, IMO. The earlier efforts where he didn't have a big budget are a bit clunky, agreed, but I would've loved being in some of those photos!
