  1. I agree that would be great but how about a hint where the engine is from ? It looks to have a few decent pieces .
  2. Repeating what everyone else has already said . . . BEAUTIFUL !
  3. Any clear will make the inkjet run if applied to heavy . Make sure the decal is laying flat and spray a couple of light coats . I use Testor's Decal Bonder , but the One Coat should work too .
  4. Scale Modeling By Chris has a resin engine kit that might have one . I scratch built one for my kit .
  5. The only complaint I have about Rustoleum is the dang spray nozzles are garbage ! Haven't tried these Ultra Cover paints yet , please let us know how they work for you . Also those magazines really bring back memories of buying them back in the 60's and learning to draw cars from them ! Since I'm here , I got this kit on the bay a couple of weeks ago for less than a new kit at my LHS ! Missing the tires but otherwise complete . Now I can build the '82 sitting in my garage !
  6. Nicely done . . . I love salt racers !
  7. Same here , one is enough for me . I occasionally will start a second build but it's more just planning and collecting parts than actual building . As slow as I build I'd never finish anything with more than that going at the same time !
  8. Beautiful Longroof Niko ! Nicest one I've seen .
  9. Love those decals ! Nice job !
  10. She's a real beauty alright ! Do you use metalizer for the brass ? It looks very realistic . Also , what scale is this ? It looks larger than 1/25th scale .
  11. Excellent details Russell ! I'm not a fan of NASCAR anymore but I lived and breathed it thru the 60's 70's and 80's . It might be blasphemy but I LIKE IT !!!

    70 Buick GSX

Nicely done Brett ! It's often overlooked but is still one of my favorite muscle cars .
  13. Yeah . . . maybe . . . I don't know . . . The bed doesn't really match the lines of the body . . . but it's a good idea and looks like it was done right , not just thrown together !
  14. I have felt this way for a while now . I'm no longer hurrying to finish a build , instead I enjoy working on the subassemblies . It can be the rear suspension or the engine or even the engine bay and I might spend a month or better on just one area ! Even though my detailing is a long way from some of the stuff I've seen on this forum , I enjoy the challenge of trying something new with each build . I guess that's why it takes me forever to complete a model !
  15. Ron , I checked the link you gave and you have a lot of models posted ! Are they all yours or do you just post ones that you like ? I'm trying to figure out how it works or why it works . There doesn't seem to be any explanation anywhere so I'm not sure what the purpose is . I will spend some more time there today and look around a bit . . . I'll let you know what I decide .
  16. X3 . . . Not really interested but I don't do the facebook thing either !
  17. Great looking Rancheros Chuck ! Custom or stock , they always look good !
  18. Great looking conversion and excellent detailing ! Love the dash !

Excellent work Carmin ! Looking forward to seeing more of your builds .
  20. Yep , I believe '80 and '81 Fairmonts were converted by a private company . Not very many ever built . Here's a brief history . . . http://www.justacargeek.com/2011/04/1981-ford-durango.html
  21. Wow that's nice ! I think I just decided on the color for my El Camino that's sitting in the garage , THANKS !
  22. Very cool Bobby ! A great bashing of parts and your wheel choice is perfect !
  23. I've been tempted to buy the pre-painted version but the black / red is getting a little too common . I really like your blue / white color combination ! Very nicely cone !

    '66 Impala

Now that's a nice looking sleeper ! Great work !
  25. That actually will come in handy . I have the kit and plan on up-scaling it to 1/64th since that's what all of my cars are . Thanks !
