I remember attempting to build one of these back in the 70's and I failed miserably . Yours turned out excellent , no one would ever know the fitment issues you had ! Love that Brilliant Orange color too !

This original has been unfinished for a couple of years because it was missing the headers , roll bar , and rear wheels/tires . Thanks to the Atlantis reissue I was able to complete it with some new parts , so it's not 100% original . I opened the scoop , filled the body seam and painted it with Tamiya French Blue , and was able to use the original decals . It's definitely a primitive kit by todays standards but it's part of modeling history and looks great on the shelf ! I have another Atlantis Fireball Dragster and plan on upgrading it with parts swaps from newer kits .
