  1. Going to get started on this “thing” . I pretty much have it all cleaned up and sanded and ready for primer and paint . Not sure of color or colors yet but have a couple of ideas . I have some tires and wheels from a die cast I plan to use . I did have to modify the chassis plate to allow for the larger tires I am using . Weird perhaps but I thought it looked cool .
  2. Got this today from Hobby Lobby on line . Pretty much need the wheels and tires for an upcoming project of a Jimmy Flintstone resin old bus .
  3. I see commercials like that on TV often. "They paid over 6,000 dollars for a new motor and transmission." " Who does that ? " NOBODY ! That's who.

  14. Wife coming home from spending 9 days with our daughter and new grandson in Virginia.
  15. Thanks for all that info Chris. Sounds like building an early Revell model with opening everything ! I almost bought one of the old Murrey (?) replica kits from Speedway. It came in bare metal. I read info on youtube about that kit and found it needed quite a bit of body work . That soured me on that project.
  16. So glad you are doing this. Very interested in following along. Good luck with your build.
  17. I only use Dupli Color on all I build. Grey and or white. Never had that issue. I use the Filler Primer version.
  18. Thanks Tom. The finished ones don't cost much more but I am thinking like it could be a fun project.
