Managed to get some paint on this one . Just a start. Needs a bit more of this color. upper section will be white . Bumpers white also I think .

I found a couple Cobra puzzles some time ago but I never tried to work on them .

Thanks guys. Yes Alan, your right the front does look like the back.

It works fairly quick but you do have time. I apply it after i get the decal situated and then brush it on. I do prod it a bit with the brush if needed and then don't screw with it, just let it do it's job.

I also never clear coat BMF.

I use Solveset and have for years. Makes decals snuggle great. Thats not much help to you but maybe a place to start.

You might like the tires from the current Tiger Shark kit if your not happy with the way yours turns out. They are pretty nice.

I had heard that if you tape the decal sheet to a window that gets a lot of sunlight that it will get rid of the yellow. I tried it once and it did not work so I don't know. Maybe I did not leave it long enough ?

Waiting for better weather to do the painting on the Meggaa Hauler I’m working on so I thought I would do some prep on this one . Body is pretty nice but needed a fair amount of clean up . Kit comes with the body , chassis plate , lower engine , rear bumper and front bumper grill . I will be using tires and wheels from a semi tractor . I had to do quite a bit of mods to the chassis plate to fit the tires and still need to do a little more trimming . Kit also comes with window material . No interior details included . I am making a drivers compartment but side windows will be blacked out . Not up to trying to build a complete interior .

Maybe that's just camo for the next generation Vette !
