I agree about the BMF but I was low on it and just enough to do the side trim with it. I do normally have a lot of trouble with decals over curved surfaces. I applied as normal and just applied Solveset on the top and set it aside. The decals are not perfect but they did lay down pretty good.

Interesting project. For a display case may I suggest an all glass fish tank. They do have a visible frame but they are cost effective. I used one for a 1/12 scale Mustang. You can cut a piece of wood that fits just inside the tank. Just an idea. -
Not much , just a 1/43 Cobra I didn’t have and dash decals for the 69 Camaro I’m working on .
