  2. My maternal Grand Dad served in WWII..... He made a career of the Army, staying over 20 years. He was Sargent over the motor pool.....
  3. Military modelers bring a different approach to car building........ Being sticklers for correctness kind of gives them a slight 'edge', if you will! This build looks great......
  4. Lucky is something you should never name your pet, as they will end up being very unlucky..........
  5. Well, do ya, punk?
  6. This is looking good! I tried this kit as my first ship model, but failed it...... It did prepare me for my second attempt at a ship, the Captain Kidd ship from Lindberg, which I was able to finish (after about a year working on it)........ Taking a break is good sometimes, gives you a fresh perspective when you go back to it!
  7. More kits are sold by their box art than by the contents of that box, I would wager..........
  8. It's cool seeing the little BMW, those e9s are kinda rare! They're one of my favorite cars by them........ That NSX though.........
  9. Trippy-looking tie-dyed skies and colorful tracers is something I witnessed over 20 years ago, but can recall it pretty vividly...........
  10. Accent colors incorporated into your build can either be complimentary to the main body color, or in high contrast............

  20. Yea, they started to lose certain aesthetics around the e46 or so. That, and they started to put too many gadgets on their cars! Who needs variable-ratio electronically assisted power steering? or for the rear headrests to lower when you go into reverse?

  22. "Dinner With The Lecters" was a cooking show that didn't catch on for some reason...........
  23. Hey, Guys! Not really wanting to bump this, but I'm offering these to anyone willing to just pay shipping........... I can't do anything with them, as I don't really have the room to lay them out. I'm packing some things up and purging things that I don't need, so when it's time to move it will be a more streamlined process........ I just want someone to enjoy them is all........
  24. I've seen the snake on three different occasions now, if it's the same one....... There is a small tree with a Mocking Bird nest in it right in front of my apartment. I'm pretty sure he's trying to get to that. Those tenacious little birds won't let it get close at all, though! It may also smell my little hammy friend, where I throw out his extra food for the birds to have.....
  25. Flying an aircraft is serious business! There's no room for yoking around..........
