  1. Great work! Coincidentally, thats the same color as the last two I've seen. Sombody in my town has one, and I saw another on a car transport, presumably on its way to a new home.
  2. That is coming along Beautifully! The seats look very convincing. I noticed on the headliner they have a dome light on both sides. The car should only have one on the driver's side. Since this could be built either left or right hand drive, they probably failed to mention that in the instructions. Are you going to use the bamboo tray?
  3. This kit was originally made by Aoshima, and was sold in the US in an AMT box. Polar Lights has re-issued it a few times, I think. One version has the DMC on the grille, and DeLorean on the rear bumper removed. There was a chrome bodied version, and the new version which has DMC back on the front, but still missing DeLorean on the rear.
  4. S110 Silvia: I tried to add pictures of some Toyota Soarer Z10s for comparison, but the forum doesn't like my links... I've built Tamiya's Z10 Soarer.
  5. My bad, it is a 200SX, or a 110 Silvia, not a 240 SX. (later correctly identified as a Nissan Leopard TRX)
  6. Rommel's Rod comes with 2. Every one of those skeletons suck, though. Out of them, the Lil Coffin Skeleton seems to suck the least.
  7. Great work on this one again. Suspension looks great.
  8. Mobile Armored Strike Kommand
  9. Alot of signs are printed on styrene, like FOR SALE, YARD SALE, BEWARE of DOG. You can usually find those cheap. Gift cards/credit cards are also good for small, thick parts.
  10. Does bleach lose it's "potency"? I've got 3 old peanut butter jars for stripping paint, DOT 3, Simple Green, and Clorox bleach. I've soaked some AMT parts from the Barris T Buggy for nearly 2 days, chrome wont budge. I've stripped other chrome parts in the same bleach and they were ready in a 1/2 hour - 2 hours tops.
  11. That wheel looks spot on! I used what was left of a giftcard and picked this up at my LHS. Looks fantastic. havn't started, got alot already cooking. The only things that looks iffy to me, is the transmission looks too blocky, and I don't care for how they did the front beam. It's cool that they give you a bamboo tray and flower vase. This definitely rivals the Tamiya kit, although that is an earlier car. Judging from the extra parts, there is definitely a police version overseas, or in the works.
  12. Is that an AMT kit? I built The Cukoo's Nest when I was a kid, and did a terrible job. I've got some surving parts, and just used the battery in a Datsun.
  13. Paint looks great! I believe the VW color was Clementine Orange.
  14. Great work, Jesse. I'm gonna have to step it up a notch. Rodney, The Camaro looks good. I'd kinda like to get another one myself, mine was damaged, then rebuilt a few times.
  15. Beautiful work! I have trouble building a racecar nice enough to keep it clean. This is one of my "Top Five Most Dangerous Cars" in Gran Tourismo.
  16. I've built two Monogram Cobras, (I'm in the middle of my second one) they are very nice kits. Yours looks fantastic.
  17. This is turning out crazy good. I've seen a few mid-engine Porsche VWs in real life. Your scratch built frame is amazing.
  18. I still have a few coagulated bottles of Testors with 10 cent, 50 cent markings on the lid. I got an antique Pactra bulk pack of od green about 20 years ago, forgot what those were marked. The spray cans now are rediculous. I usually buy Krylon spray paint, unless I need a metallic or some thing odd, which isn't often.
  19. Looks fantastic. Good call on switching the wheels, the ones it came with are so wrong for a split bus.
  20. Looking good. I keep saying I need to get started on mine (have 2 racers, and 1 rally). Not enough free time.
  21. Coming along nicely.
  22. If its any help, I have the 1931 Caddillac. It is an Italeri kit and is very nice. The body is about what you would expect from most 30's era car kits; Full frame, a floor with fenders, main body, radiator grille, two half hoods, running boards, and a removable roof.
  23. Anyone else getting anythign done? I should have some new hi-res pics for submission soon. In the meantime, here's some real PA cars my friends have built: http://youtu.be/EP5dJYQtfEU
  24. That's for the convertible. That's where they should be.
  25. Looks cool so far. My only concern is the windscreen for the TIE fighters and the Jedi Starfighters is too distinctive. It would be like putting a Mecedes badge on a Daewoo and hoping nobody notices. Are you going to modify that window?
