1977 Dodge Monaco/Crestwood wagon.

Tommy, I was not trying to downplay how the kit would be received, as I think the demand would be there. Just a personal preference since most of the choices I make are drag cars. and I can already think of 3 of the earlier style. And to give you a request for maybe your 2nd project a '66 Chevy Impala wagon, to fit Revell's recently discontinued but still able to be found '66 Impala SS. -

om617, I too would be interested in the earlier version for the very car that CapSat 6 posted the pics of. That Buick wagon in the distance behind that would be very interesting too! Swipe the engine and chassis out of Monogram's '70 GSX, (yeah I know, it would have to be scaled to 1/24th instead of 1/25th) but at least another good wagon to build. Of course you could do the Coronet wagon in 1/24th and have the doner kit be any of the several Mongram Mopars. The only 2 I would rather have would be a '66 Chevy wagon (to go with Revell's '66 Impala SS) or a '67 trans-kit to go with AMT's '66 Nova SS. Both were also used in Stock eliminator classes by Cal and Mary Ann Method for several years. The '77 just does not have a clean look at the front, but the doner kit would probably make it the easiest to cast. So yes I would most likely get one if you do decide to go that route, but would get more of each of the others. -

I'm sure I've seen these somewhere

Scott, I have also seen them in grey plastic on Hobby Link Japan. May not be exactly what you are looking for, but they were a lot cheaper! -
Is it just me, or has the site slowed down again?
socal76 replied to russosborne's topic in How To Use This Board
Dave, I have a new problem nobody else seems to have. I cannot use the back arrow to go back a page. Sometimes have to go completly out of the forum and come back in to get the pages to reload. Sometimes it will let me do this by getting to the Home tag -

Art, are the side skirts molded on or separate? I am not really a fan of the skirts on many car bodies. -

This will probably be a 19' since they already have a 23' in this style. Also new, but with no stock number are a big and liile set of the Magnums. The Shueys look like the Halla wheels except the edges of the slots are more rounded than the Halla. They are also doing a big and litle CL (Centerline style), a big and little set of the Hollis, and a big and little set of T's. The tread looks the same as their most recent tires but I don't know about the diameter. Can't quite see them doing a new tire yet.until they might come aout with a whole new line of wheels, unless the outer diameter is going to be larger. I would like to see some narrower fronts first, same diameter and trea pattern, just narrower width. Doing the big and littles for those only wanting to buy one set to get a set like that instead of buying two sets and having a second set buyer may not really want or be ablt to afford. Smart move and I sugested it to them a few years ago. Sounds like others may have suggested the same thing. -
Update on Revell Model A Coupe and Roadster kits
socal76 replied to tim boyd's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Daddyfink, according to Tim's post announcing this the new kit will have a new kit number. I guess I worded it incorrectly for what I wanted to try to get. Horsepower the new releases will have a new kit number so the shady types will be easy to spot. -
I really like the blue on this Camaro. Can you please tell this less talented builder what the paint is? I want to do one of my planned Camaros in that color.

Update on Revell Model A Coupe and Roadster kits

Well maybe now I can find someone that has two they might be willing to sell in the original box art. One to collect and one to build, like I did on the roadsters. -
Something I have not yet quite figured out about all of this. Isn't Paul driving people TO puchasing products from the very person he is accusing of ripping him off, since Paul wil not be selling these now and people will still want to purchase such items and may not have seen any of the posts here? If Paul's products are not available and there is someone else doing the same item, many are going to buy it because that is all that is available. And besides, I may want to build it my own way and then change my mind right in the middle. Not easy to do with a custom build you are paying for!

After you clear your browser cache as mentioned above, click on the message envelope and then go down to the bottom where it says "Go to Inbox" and it should take you to all of your messages over on the left of the screen in you Inbox.

Nobody mentioneded the '66 Impala they were going to produce abut the time Revell was dong their '65 Impala dand AMT was doing their '67 Impalal. Since the '66 was my favorite of the three I was eagerly awaiting this issue, only to never see it make it into production.

I like the color of the body. Might have to use it on a '50 Ford P/U Custom I am building. Checking to see if the Hemi out of the later Revell '41 Willys will fit without too many mods, so I can use theflathead in another project.
