  1. Aoshima also did some much more detailed modern Nissan engines. Sold out most places, but I sure would like to find that RB26DETT. Would look great in that. And if you lose interest, I know someone that has a lot of interest in it already!
  2. Oh, heck yeah I am interested! Would like a few more that Tom did. Lost my list but I know he and Shawn Carpenter both would have gotten a lot of my money, IF I had not procrastinated!
  3. Great trade with matthijsgrit. Health issues kept me from being anywhere near as fast sending trade items as he did, but I tried to keep him informed and then sent an extra to make up for my lateness. I would trade with him any time I have something he needs or wants.
  4. Did a direct comparison of the Quickbuilder to a Fujimi Lambo and the width and wheelbase were almost identical.
  5. Jonathan, I still see the roadsters in Hobby Lobby, but I sure could use a couple of Coupes. Not seen any of those Coupes anywhere except the bay, and I just will not pay $45.00 and up for that kit. Call me cheap, call me thrifty!

  7. Casey, I heard (from a source within Revell) that they only have two molding machines within their facility, but at least that is two! This was a few years ago though, so maybe not as accurate now.

  9. Seems like the only way to get what you might want is to go to the shop and see if he has it for sale there. Not able to do that, but what I have bought from him before he opened the shop was top quality. Wish I could get a few more items.
  10. Just using this kit as a doner chassis for my Blueprinter '64 Ford Nascar builds.
  11. oldcarfan, can you remember who did the Porsche #4 kit? Been wanting the front end like that.
  12. Old Coyote, how about a group pic of the three? Be nice to see that since I don't know of anyone else that has done a pic like that.
  13. Espo, any chance you might want to get rid of that Black Widow incorrect body? I had an "accident" with the freshly painted body on my original. Best baint job I have done and on the way back into the house, must have squeezed the coat hanger just a bit too much and down to the ground it went. And since i was walking you can pretty much gess the next sound!! No, not that one, that came after the "CRUNCH" before I could stop! Steven
  14. Lou, do you still need the front and rear bumpers? I have a set I can send if you do need them. P.M. if you do need them.
  15. I probably have enough kits to last another 100 years after I pass. And that is assuming I could build 40 a year.
  16. I wonder if I send Ismael a brand new sealed in the box kit and tell him it was all a dream the he finished that much of the kit was all just a dream would work? LOL Oh wait, I forgot how I was going to get his back to me!!! Back to the drawing board! Great job so far.
  17. John, that July of 17 date is two months after they had planned to have all orders produced and shipped so they could retire in May of '17. But they received so many orders they are going to have to continue producing until July now, in order to fulfill all of them. So their planned retirement will already be two months later than planned! As much as I hate to see the loss of Modelhaus, they kind of deserve the retirement. They are already missed by many that have found missing or damaged items in kits that many have purchased since the website shutdown. But if they had kept the site open they never would be able to retire, so many people have items they now know they need but did not know they needed before the announced date of final orders to be submitted. Won't say how I know that is a fact, might embarrass myself!!
  18. Moving away from even looking at the '68 Coronet and '70 Charger. I know how 426-Hemi gets around Mopar stuff!!!
  19. Johan, I do have a question since I could not see the back of the interior. Would the interior come all the way back if the lack end of the window had been leveled with the sides when the body work started? I have been picturing that in my mind and think it is maybe just a bit cleaner (my opinion only, not a criticism of your excellent work and taste). Or was there window framing that required the slight rise at the rear of the window? Just curious and since nobody else has raised this question maybe a bit "different" in my taste.
  20. Mark, the way you make all the changes makes it seem far easier than I thought it would be. Great buiild and all the tips will be filed in my brain for future reference. Let's just hope I can find them in the future!!
  21. Has anybody ever made a list of the Monogram kits and the years they represent? Curious to know about some for a specific project. Primarily for the Grand Prix kits.
  22. Mike, I can vouch for Scott's lever style harnesses. I have a couple of sets already that I picked up from him when he came to the Kansas City show the past couple years. All his stuff is top notch. I am trying to scrape up enough funds to get two of his Fairmont Pro Stocks to do two versions of Glidden's car. Oh and talk to him about buying a chassis and trying it on a few other kits. Looks like it will work quite nicely under the Trumpeter '63 Nova.
  23. Sorry to hear of his passing. I know he will be missed by all the members of D.R.A.G., but he will alos be missed by his customers and people that have met him. Condolances to his family.
  24. I wasn't sure if any of the Chaparral's were Can-Am, but I thought maybe the 2D's Might be. Thanks for the correction.
