Kurt, if you really could care less about the anime bikini girl, there seems to be several that you could send it to, myself included!

Shapeways just prints the file you send to them. TDR created the files for the bodies they offer and yes, they are fantastic. I looked at the '69 Camaro at a show and if I had not already spent most of the money I took to the show on kits, I would have bought it and the chassis kit too. One of these days.....

Birdman's twin turbo Pontiac firebird trans am
socal76 replied to Toriano's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
NYLIBUD, your 'bird needs a colour other than the flat black. Hides a lot of the detail. And you do have some detail that needs to be seen better. -
You should check out Scott's products at Futurattraction. He has a really nice 351 Pro Stock motor that was made for the Futurattraction Ford Fairmont Pro Stock. Lots of other items too and the quality is great!

Maybe it is too far out there but that sure would be a neat project! Anybody know of a radial engine in a size close to what it would take?
-
While I am watching this build, I keep eyeing that Hess transporter in the background too! Maybe I need to dig out all of my Aurora 1/16th scale kits now and get busy with some of them.

One thing for the Gremlin I have not seen on your list (unless I just flat out missed it) was the Levi's version. Any plans for that or did I miss seeing it? And I am really looking forward to you getting that PDF file done. And curious why it started with RKD34 instead of the expected RKD1 or RKD01? But like I said in my earlier post, I can already tell my wallet will be a lot lighter very soon!

Check with Kris at Morgan Automotive Detail. He lists a Powerglide, a Turbo 350, a Turbo 400, and a "corrected" GM700R4. The corrected was in his description, so that was why I put it in quotes. But by the same token, I have several items of his and I am sure you will not be disappointed in any of his offerings.

Anyone make a resin 1 ton dump bed
socal76 replied to fordf-100's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
fordf-100, there is one I saw on e-bay after I left the forum. It is by bcs-trading. It looks about perfect for what you are describing for your needs. And it is made of styrene. But only listed on e-bay and in their e-bay store. -

OK Charlie, you make it look SO easy. All right it is, if you have ever used more than one triangle at a time (I haven't) or are smart enough to have thought of it before (apparently I am not)! LOL -
Brian, are you using the AMT or Revell '64 kit? If you are using the Revell kit, send me a PM
-
Ron, if your luck is anything like mine, Revell will have had it tooled up, released, and then dropped it after 5 years of being run before you decide it is now time to get started on it!

Art, not to hijack Erik's thread, but if you want to get rid of that "what if" project to allow you much more time for your other "Duesy" let me know! That is sharp! Does it still have enough room for the kit engine?
-
John, sometimes you make make me want to cry Uncle and just sell everything in my collection. Kits, tools, paint, I mean everything! Then the insanity comes back and I go,"Well he has worked at it for a while, so maybe if I dedicate that much time, maybe I can get half as good". Then I look at the year on the calendar. It tells me, nope nobody lives 150+ years and I am already older than you are! And Chris, don't be laughing too hard, because you have done the same thing to me! LOL!!

Alix, I think that the '66 Impala has already been dropped. I am in the same boat trying to find a couple of '63's to finish out my Revell Impala collection. Then have to see if I can find a Modelhaus '66 Caprice. And there was someone that did a '66 Bel Air. Holthaus also did a '66 wagon but his mold gave out and he told me he had never sold enough to redo his master to make a new mold. But that was long before he ever announced his retirement. But I have seen someone on e-bay offering a '66 wagon lately, but was not at my computer to bookmark it. I will have to look again when I can actually sit at my desk and not be in too much pain. Fun part of getting older and breaking bones when you fall while just walking to the kitchen. A broken hip and shoulder from something so trivial is not fun! No fun story to tell people what you were doing at the time to make it worthwhile.

Don, I like that '69 boxart too, but I also like the '67 boxart, just not those narrow boxes!

Daddyfink, that kit version pic you posted is from when AMT ran some Johan tools. I have the "Right On" Maverick Pro Stock they did the same with. I have also heard that AMT's 1967 Toronado was also a Johan, but I have never seen the Johan to compare.

Are we ever going to get the Revell 30 model A back?
socal76 replied to slusher's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Revell did not file for bankruptcy, it was the company that owns Revell that filed for bankruptcy (Hobbico) -

Who knows with Revell's parent company filing for bankruptcy. Hobbico said they were looking for buyers, but did not say if it was for Revell or the whole company.
