  1. In my opinion, this has to be the very best Auburn 852 Speedster model in the world. Absolutely stunning. By any chance did you do anything to create a corrrct drivetrain?
  2. I agree with all the other comments. My thought is this would look good and mean on blackwall tires. I'll be eager to see what you do next.
  3. Looks lile you are off to a great start on this one.
  4. Nicely done. This is my kind of car! They always look best as Henry made them.
  5. Ugly car (and I am a tremendous fan of Mazdas). GREAT model skillfully built. Thanks for posting. I doubt well ever see a better one.
  6. I like it. Great concept!
  7. Thats an interesting variation. Ive always wondered what this resin would look like built up. You've done it justice.
  8. One of my favorite Classics and certainly one of my 2-3 favorite kits ever. You have done a beautiful job with yours. Well done.
  9. Two steps forward and three steps back. Im dissatisfied with the appearance of the fenders. They are i n the purple bath. More soon.
  10. I do recall seeing the Tudor. If I can make mine half as nice I will feel very good about my model! I have made some decisions not to go too crazy on the chassis of any of these models though I want to do one more version of the '26 Touring (a model of my own 1:1 car shown below) to reflect how it looks today. That model will be an attempt to be highly detailed in my work. I will probably also build an enclosed cab pickup at some point; this is not a car that Ford ever produced but would be neat looking just the same. Thanks to all for your comments!
  11. And here are the rest of the cars.
  12. I have not abandoned this project but my recent knee surgery prevented me from running down to the basement. Here is where the project sits today. The new guy in the shop is helping me out.
  13. At the Eyes on Design Concours d'Elegance I saw this '29 Ford Roadster that had been at the TROGS event. I thought all you street rod enthusiasts would enjoy it.
  14. I too am most impressed. I've had a Ford wagon in my stash for quite a while. You have certainly provided some inspiration!
  15. What's not to like? I hope she can serve as inspiration for my girls. Well done!
  16. This is an interesting way to approach building a diorama. I like it and will watch this one with interest.
  17. I like everything about this model. I have to build one myself some day. Very well done.
  18. It's hard to add more to the superlatives except to say I agree with them all. And thank you for taking all of us along for the ride. I personally have enjoyed every minute of it.
  19. Beautiful model. I am impressed with the attention to detail including building some things "wrong" to most eyes, yet in a historically accurate manner. To me, this is probably the best Corvette I've seen on this for um. Very well done.
  20. There aref several stunning SLs on the forum. I like them all but your colour scheme is a real stand out and looks very period correct. What is the Ivory you used? Beautiful model.
  21. Absolutely stunning. I like everything you have done with this one. Great, and very German looking colour scheme. I like it.
  22. Ljke any old Ford, if it's not leaking oil, it's out of oil. Runs eh? Not without a wiring harness it won't! Seriously, I love the car and the tongue in cheek humorous way you have presented it. The car is just plain fun. I like it a lot. Eric
  23. I agree that your model looks great. I find the headlamp forks a bit odd on this kit as I think they put the lamps too low and too far forward. No fault of tours, just something I would want to address. I like all the little brass accessories on this kit, which would lend themselves to a great speedster project. Nicely done.
  24. This is indeed a fantastic model. I am most impressed by the work on the stainless trim atop the fenders. I can add a bit to the question of whether Ford intended to offer this car as a hardtop, as they most certainly did. The original plan was to offer the new 61 Lincoln in three bodystyles, pillared sedan, hardtop sedan and convertible sedan. The hardtop was to share the automatic retractable window mechanism with the convertible. Alas bean counters intervened before regular production got underway, though at least one prototype exists and is quite well known in the Lincoln collector circle as it has made the rounds at various concours events. Hope this is of some help. Again, your model is absolutely fabulous.
  25. Ooo La La! My kind of a model. My kind of car. I like a '62 anything. Very nicely done.
