  1. Fyi. A convertible will be cheaper than a hardtop.
  2. I built the Fireball 500. Trailer is still in the box. not sure what or if I'll ever do anything with it
  3. Missing link has it and its really REALLY NICE
  4. If you have one. Take a good look at the up top from what I believe is a 1965 Impala top. ( top came with several builders I bought a few years back ) Ive got one sitting on my 300 vert promo and it sure looks like it would be a pretty easy to make work. Ive tried it on several cars and it fits the 300 the best . I can get pictures this weekend maybe
  5. Friend of mine is looking for a early - mid 70s example
  6. Does a model exist to do a stock Opel Kadett . preferably 1/25th scale
  7. I may not be the best one to answer this . But I would build the S+M car. Then grab another one to do the 2nd S+M car. ( There was a SS car and a MP class car ) Then grab another one to do replica stock . But Ive got probably 4 or 5 Johan Superbird kits so my opinion is tainted somewhat
  8. Ive got a Johan Bird in process. And using the AMT chassis under it as well. Someday I'll finish it . Its supposed to be a replica of a good friends old car
  9. Just my opinion. But I personally think the AMT body better represents a Charger. with a little bit of work on the nose to body fit. IMO it looks better than the Revell kit does Something about the exaggerated door scallops on the Revell kit makes it look weird , especially in a light color The AMT kit , I built a looooong time ago. ( its starting to fall apart now ) And yes it does have the newer AMT chassis under it
  10. I'm casually looking for a decent 67 Cougar. When I do ck one out they tend to go for more than my wallet is going to open up for. Ive toyed with the idea to convert the funnycar body combined with the 69 interior and chassis to give me the basic look I'm after.,,but it not real high on my to do list , ( I used to own a 67 390 auto car. and maybe some day want to build a replica of that old ride )
  11. Absolutely love it
  12. VERY nice, Ive struggled since this came out to buy this kit or not. Every time I see one built I think I want one, ( and I Never do import cars ) Love the color combo
  13. The only way to get a superbird is either a Monogram 1.24th scale. Or long out of production Johan kit which is the only source for a1.25th scale. Be warned...your piggy bank will take a hit for a Johan kit.. Ps, about the only shared item between a 68 Roadrunner and a 1970 Superbird , is the windshield
  14. so your buying second hand. Or at Ollies . Thats about the only way you'll be $10 or less
  15. $10 kits disappeared years ago. UNLESS your buying second hand, even then its near impossible to get a mint unbuilt anything for that.
  16. Thanks, I was leaning towards the Fujimi kit. Right now , I have nothing. I don't need opening doors and all the fuss. It looks like the Gunze kit is out of my price range for a display model. As once its done, ( wont be anytime soon anyway ) it will go in the case and probably never to come out again . Thanks again , time to go prowl ebay
  17. Good will or something similar. I took file box full of car and model magazines to a swap meet a few weeks back Offered the whole box for $10 . not one bite. My next trip near a good will they will go there, or I'll drop them in the recycling bin at my daughters school.
  18. Ive got his 4 door Dodge cab. Beds shown were from elsewhere
  19. So, Ive been thinking I would like to build a early GTO some day. Out of the 3 which one is the best one for a shelf model. An opening hood is nice if the V12 is accurate but not mandatory . Im more concerned with overall body shape . When I look in the case I want to see a nice looking early Ferrari GTO Italeri ?Testors ?Fujimi ? I would prefer a 1/25th scale but it doesnt look like thats possibile .
  20. I believe the 72 Missile Cuda was found next to a garage. ( sorry, dont remember where though) There was a rather lengthy discussion about it over on Moparts.com a few years back . Then owner turned down numerous offers over the years ( it was no secret to several people. ) The car has since been pulled and restored . And this apparently just in the past few years, but no idea who owns it now .
  21. Have had it happen several times. Best one was coming from Tennessee to KY , but went to California 1st, then a day in Michigan , from there to North Carolina finally to KY. Took almost 10 days , when it should have been 2 days TOPS. Thank god for tracking or I would have blew a gasket with the seller . Once it made it ,,,it was all good and we both got a good laugh out of it in the end. A few years back when I was doing a lot of 1/1 restoration parts selling. I mailed 2 boxes same day. One to New York , the other one to Australia. The Australia one got there 1st by about 2 days ,,,,go figure.
  22. Paypal via goods and services . They have until about a week before Paypals deadline to deliver . At that time I file a non delivery of goods claim. I got screwed big time over a fraud buyer on ebay about 6 or 7 years ago. Sold him 3 cars worth $450 , He filed a damaged claim ,,,he then sent back 2 completely different cars worth about $30 on a good day . Paypal could care less, He insured them for the full $450 , which makes me have to sign at delivery . But once I opened it up and saw what he'd done. I told Paypal and even sent them pictures of what I sent him and what he sent me,,,,Paypal basically gave me tough chit reply. So yes im not a paypal advocate I refuse to send payment via friends and family method on a 1st time transaction. Its goods and services or I''ll pass on the whole deal.
  23. I didnt know that. I have the ones for the 67-68 Air Lift Rattler car. And have a 70 Cougar builder I want to do as the pro stock car. But ive never seen the decals advertised anywhere before . I'll get in touch with him . Thanks
  24. I've got the unpainted figures out of the Futura and probably the Club De Mer . Also have the above mentioned 1928 Lincoln and 1959 Ford retracatable kits. ,,,,,.I'll trade them all for just the Standing Dick Landy and standing Linda Vaughn figures I want to recreate something like this in 1/25th scale
