  1. welcome aboard. Models can be a huge help in taking our minds off the daily grinds of life and its associated issues. Chin up, there is always light at the end of the tunnel,,,,it just has a magnifier built in it now LOL ps, in regards to the IMC Little red Wagon poster. I honestly cant say if Ive ever seen one before or not.
  2. This is my thoughts. Having built models off and on since the mid 60s . I would dare say Ive built well into the thousands. Ive got maybe 150/200 or so built on hand in the cases now . Lord only knows how many I've sold off or been damaged and thrown away over the years. I'm afraid to think the $$$$$$$ I've 'torched' in simulated crashes back in my youth
  3. Beauty for sure. Ive had one of these on my to find list....with not much luck btw
  4. I just paint it a like color as the flocking and sprinkle away . Had zero issues Had one i used white glue pull loose at the edges after a while
  5. We think alike
  6. Love it
  7. Mid 1970 season on a limited use. About the same time as pro Stock first came onto the scene , Earilist Ive seen them is the 1970 Sox and Martin Cuda Became much more common approx 1971 and 1972 They were an over the counter race car part only from both mother Mopar and the aftermkt . never offered for street use, but like as mentioned some ran them on the street.
  8. The car snake is inquiring about to build. 65 Plymouth sedan 426 hemi and auto The Flash kit is a 4 speed but has everything else to build this car Slixx makes ( or at least made the decals for this one )
  9. Pretty sure you need the Flash version. Its the only one with a hemi , sedan body and correct A990 interior
  10. So does the AMT 1971 Duster
  11. I use Bare Metal foil for the most part. Although I have done an entire model using the pen with great results . BUT ,,,it requires a steady hand. Or a Q tip close by for the inevitable slip I think this one all the trim is the pen, including the wheels
  12. Please tell me there is resin copy avail . I'm good with a curbside version
  13. Steve, Im assuming all your coats are via airbrush , from 1st primer base coat to clear top coat ?
  14. Missing link makes ( or at least used to ) the baseline interior conversion for the AMT kit.
  15. Nice builds fellas. Im not a vette guy persay, but when I see them built makes me thinking about building some of my own
  16. 5 hours ago, StevenGuthmiller said: When I buy a kit, the chassis is honestly the absolute last thing I care about. Steve Make it triplets little brothers The chassis detail is my least concern, its not like I display my builds bottom side up.
  17. VERY well done. Having seen the 1/1 in person ( past owner was from Lexington KY ) I can say in all honesty, that was one WICKED sounding small block
  18. Perfect, I will have to pick some of this paint up and do a spoon test. I have a project In mind for a color like this
  19. I have one of these missing link resin kits. Not sure when or If i'll ever get to it. if your interested I might be talked out of it , pm me and we can work it out
  20. Got a closeup pic of that.? I would love to see how much metallic is in it
  21. Most , maybe even all the above please. As for the Bill Bagshaw cars, I'm baffled as to why no one has ever done the decals to do either of these is beyond me
  22. Some one correct , but wasn't this kit produced a couple times. One where it had said door scoops and one where it had the correct depressions like on the 1/1 ? One with a somewhat stock chassis and one with a full nascar chassis Notice slightly different boxart
