  1. Would love to find that Maverick build. The rest I have
  2. Nice work on an old classic. I'm not a street rod kinda guy, But in the back of my mind , every so often I think I need one of these on my shelf . The car is a icon of the 80s
  3. Dude, If you just posted the 1st picture by itself. it looks like the real car in a VERY clean garage
  4. Looks good. Even though I'm a diehard Mopar fan. I love these big Pontiacs
  5. Sorry to report I buy based on subject first and foremost. BUT,,,,,,,, I HIGHLY prefer to avoid 1/24th scale anything. Unless I cant get the subject I'm after in any other form . For example, I searched out and bought Johan 1970 Roadrunners and GTX kits as I really don't like the Monogram versions of said car. Therefor about the only 1.24th scale kits I own are the early 30s cars, They are all either Monogram or Heller.
  6. Actual 1969 Road Runner grill
  7. Well, I can tell you there was never a 1/24th scale kit of a 1969 GTX or Road Runner produced. Odds are the resin piece is a screw up. I also, can tell you a Johan 1969 Roadrunner grill is almost a simple drop in to an AMT body I can ck over the weekend and if I have a spare 69 Johan RR grill ( odds are pretty good I do ) Its yours Shown is a Johan 69 GTX grill in an AMT 69 GTX body. Only thing I had to do was remove some material in the body behind where the headlights are to drop the grill in place
  8. pm coming And Thanks
  9. Rico, Any chance you could be talked into making a grille, tail light trim panel and interior for the Revell 1967 GTX so it can be converted to a 1966 ? I'm in talks to buy this very car and would love to build a replica for the shelf
  10. Ive probably got several set of the Johan MT Hemi valve covers if someone wants them as I SERIOUSLY doubt I'll eve use them all
  11. I''ll agree with the 61 . but the 66- and later Fords never did much for me,,,( just my 2 cents,,,,. ) My personal favorite is the 63 or 64 Galaxies
  12. I bow to the king Personally the body style does nothing for me, BUT WOW this looks amazing
  13. Very, VERY nice, But if I may. the was no manual trans or dana rear axle avail in this body style ps, dont look now but your torsion bars are to short
  14. Shame people are the way they are ,,,,, There is another ebay seller been duplicating others decals for years. Once I found that out, I quit buying from him. Shame to ,,, as he has a few I want . But I choose to not support thieves
  15. Although I can certainly appreciate the work it takes to achieve this level build. IMO, the roof line doesn't work with the body lines of the car itself
  16. Anyone know if such a conversio exists. I know mcw did make a 1966 belvedere..but i think it was a sedan. I need a 2 door hardtop
  17. Although the subject matter doesnt do much for me. But the box art for the Porsche is down right cool
  18. I used to think the same thing,,,untill I saw this picture of the 1/1 I'll be honest Im not a Ford fan by any means. But I love the big chrome laden land yachts of any marque.
  19. Built my 60 and have a clean 59 to do as well
  20. cant say for sure if the Mopar color is in fact the same as Chevy or not. BUT, 1969 Plymouth 999 green is different than 1969 Dodge F6 green
  21. Thanks all, I recently moved to south of Tucson ( actually south of Vail Az ) and found out about this show a few weeks ago, thinking I need to go . Had I found out about it sooner, I may have tried to get a vendor spot to set up .
  22. Just curious, why is the carb on sideways. 'Is that something they do today ? ( Sorry, I dont follow modern drag cars very close )
