nice . thanks for the pics -
Agreed 100% When ever I take a kit out of the box , ANY kit , old or new - newer I lay everything out on the counter and make sure its flat Then really look the body and related components to make sure there's not warpage I'll do a very basic dry assembly of major components , Body , hood , glass , chassis etc etc Nothing worse than finding out AFTER its all painted the car doesn't sit flat and square to the surface
-
Looks killer I built this same kit about 15 years ago I think

I decided to try and push my luck , try option C Cut 2 tiny pieces of plastiruc and superglued them in place. And BMF over them. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself The vent wing frames are the new Fusion Chrome paint. Applied with a very tiny sharp tip brush
-
My least favorite part of modeling . The BMF work I've actually been putting this off doing for a few days So I'm quite glad that's out of the way Need to figure out how or if I want to attempt to try and fill the slot in the door for the drivers side mirror I completely missed before they were painted Options are A- leave it and have a hole B- install the mirrors which Im almost positive an A990 car never had? C - Attempt to fill them with tiny pieces of plastic and make a 'faux pas ' mirror delete plate ?
