  1. I just ckd. I can do that. But wow thats a royal pain It would be nice if I could just go down the attachment list. click individual pics and hit delete in one key stroke
  2. Basically the rears on this car. Any kits ever have them ? I need 2 to do this car
  3. Ok am I missing something ?. Ive been looking for a button to delete old pictures uploaded to the board. When I click on my profile and select attachments. it doesn't give me an option to delete any This is what the drop down menu shows me. 4. For me it really depends on my mood and /or enthusiasm at that time. Take this one for example. I wanted to see if I could add the body color along the rockers like the 1/1. BUT using a rattle can. Usually I just detail only what can be seen with it sitting in my case
  5. I use it all the time with nice results. I don't shoot for super slick jobs . But I'm happy with them.
  6. Agreed, Ive done this a few times and won a couple times. If not Wait a couple days for the next one and try again. I refuse to get in a bidding war with resin parts. I'll wait for the next listing
  7. Took the words right out of my mouth. I build for me and me alone. If someone likes it great. If someone hates it , OK. Makes no difference for me either way . Want to offer praises or critiques , go right ahead . Im a big boy with pretty thick skin . I might show pictures of something online . But entering contests with it isnt my intent when I start a build.
  8. Its got a 1970 grill in it. And the roofs are all the same. Other wise thats where any similarities end with a 1/1 car
  9. One for the pile. One of the old Johan Re-issue 1968 Chrysler 300 promos. These were sold back in the 80s and early 90's . I used to have a 1/1 . So I have a soft spot for these cars.
  10. Love the concept of it. 3D printing very well could be the wave of the future But myself I never understood the big deal about the 1/1 car. I thought it was one ugly duckling
  11. I like it. But can only image the difficulty to make everything else for this Did this thing even run ?
  12. Thats a pretty neat looking little car. I would drive it
  13. The problem is, most dont just warp. They shrink. Look at the wheelbase . A lot Ive seen the wheels are no longer in the center of the wheel opening
  14. Ive got these 2. Yours for the asking , I'll never use them . No idea what they are out of though
  15. Nice. Just enough custom touches you have to really look for them. Well done
  16. EDIT, Never mind. I made an offer on one and it was accepted. Considerably less than asking i might add. There are ( were ) 3 of these kits on Ebay right now. All have issues to some degree. I took a chance, made an offer on the one I felt was my best chance , the condition I can work with fairly easily in my budget range . http://www.ebay.com/itm/MPC-1-25-1967-Pontiac-Bonneville-Convertible-Dean-Jeffries-Custom-1067-150-Kit/252969695159?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2748.l2649 should be here the end of the week . Right before we leave for vacation
  17. Everyone stay away from this one. I WANT that
  18. Ok, Bought these in a pile with several others last year. And Today is clean off my desk day. Now have the task to identify these. any ideas ? I know they're Mercury..... just need to know what year. That way I can either put them in the box with there respective car. OR in the parts bin
  19. For me I rarely have a choice. Most of the kits I build anymore were curbside only back then ( late 50s - early60s annuals ) Otherwise. It comes down to how much time I want to put into a build that's never going to be judged, or rarely even seen my anyone but me family and a few close friends.
  20. So speaks the king of interiors , IMO
  21. Not relevant to the topic. But I see your in Glendale AZ. I will be in Glendale in about 10 days . Wife has a seminar there for 2 days for work on the 24-25th. We are staying across the street from University of Phoenix Stadium . From Monday afternoon the 23rd Then we fly back out EARLY Friday morning the 27th. Any recommendations for eats or night life near there? Not likely we'll venture to far ,,,,, Or spend a small fortune either. But we're open to ideas of most any kind. ( We'll actually get into town early Saturday morning on the 21st . But we're going to Tuscon the 21st thru late afternoon on the 23rd visiting family. . )
  22. Did a test fit. This will do EXACTLY what I need it to do
  23. THIS is the 1965 Plymouth Ive been waiting for. FINALLY,,,,, An accurate 1965 Plymouth A990 car. I'll stop in my local LHS and order a case of them the 1st of the week . REALLY looking forward to see what decals the aftermarket does for this kit. ( I ve already got the decals to do the Chuck Ostrich car )
  24. I like it. Just picked up a couple of these for myself. Plan is get on them asap
