    USS Norfolk DL-1. I forgot who made the kit. I've got all the parts (ASROC launcher, 7" deck mounts. etc.) to fit it like it was when I was aboard (63-66).

    I'm wanting to build the XKE roadster and FHC. One of my professors in college had a yellow FHC. I got a ride in it once. A thrill of a lifetime on par with a chance to drive a friends 427 Cobra replica once. So which XKEs are better, the Heller or the Revell?

    I use them for interiors and the brand doesn't matter much there. I'm curious if anyone has used them enough on bodies and found that they prefer one brand over another and why?

    I've used empty Jif peanut butter containers.

    Samantha Fish! A blues phenomenon. I mention her because she played here in Chattanooga last night. At $79 per ticket, we had to pass. Check out her videos on YouTube. Gone For Good and Shake Em On Down are great.

    I burned through the paint trying that on the first try. May have had the wrong attachment.

    Isopropyl alcohol will remove most lacquers. I spray rattle can lacquers without thinning them.

    I scratch the tip on opposite sides and use that as a guide to how much I want to open it up. Usually one to 1 1/2 turns.
