Matt Bacon
No WIP for this one, since it's destined for a magazine over here. Very nicely, if over-ambitiously, engineered kit. I added some wires under the hood, but that's about all. bestest, M.
bbowser
Beautiful! I've been looking to snag one of these on ebay but so far have been unwilling to pay the price. You did an awesome job on this.
Matt Bacon
Thanks, Bruce! The good news is that Heller is back in production, and a lot of these classics are now being re-popped. Should be available at Squadron or other imported kit stores now -- it's already at HLJ, and that's the other side of the world from France!bestest,M. uncle potts
Nice looking model. You should be proud to have it on your shelf. I had to go look, and I do have this one, maybe it will have to be next.

my66s55
That's one fine looking Delahaye, Matt. I have 2 in my stash, but they will be the basis for the F&F 135 and 165 roadsters. It's great news if they are reproducing these as I also want to do the 135 coupe. Again, great looking model.

Cpt Tuttle
Nice build of one of the most beautiful cars in the world.
jaymcminn
Fantastic work on what I'm sure wasn't an easy build. I've been working on the Bugatti T50 on and off for a while so I know how much work it takes to get the best out of these Heller kits. Excellent! Phildaupho
Spectacular build of a beautiful car. I have had one of these kits in my closet for years which I hope to build someday. I am really enjoying the resurgence of interest in building models of classic cars.
Atmobil
I can only agree with the others, spectacular is the word! I love these old Heller kits and it is very nice to see one of them built
Al Hoffman
I think the saying is "Great Minds Think Alike". Having built this kit I know what was required on your part to get it to a finished state. And well done it is. One of the few kits that I followed the instructions religiously and crossed the steps off when each was done. All your effort paid off as it is extremely well built and finished. I included a couple of shots of mine so you can see why the above saying came to mind.
Harry P.
Wow! Matt, that is a thing of beauty. No wonder why it's destined for a magazine feature. So crisp and sharp... excellent work. And Allan... same for yours. Excellent work, very slick and clean. Man... this is what model building is all about! To me, at least... GeeBee
Absolutely stunning model, and super clean build, what magazine is it going to be in ?
Matt Bacon
Thank you very much, one and all! Sorry there's not more to see and read, but it's a condition of doing the article, sadly.Allan... yours looks excellent, and I can see we're very much "on the same page". I think Heller did the wheel spat components in different colours to give the two tone effect, but I chickened out of masking them. You didn't!Skip... you're too kind...Charlie -- it's Tamiya TS-23 Light Blue and TS-55 Dark Blue, mostly out of the can (I had to touch up the front right spat with the airbrush after the darn thing split as I was trying to get it to fit...)Geoff -- it'll be in Airfix Model World, not sure what issue yet...and yes, I do wish someone did a Saoutchik or Figoni and Falaschi bodied version...bestest,M. PatW
I'll keep an eye out too, in the Airfix mag. Super build Matt well done!
