Nytrozilla Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I wouldn't be surprised to see any (and eventually, all) of the AF/X, etc. style cars released by Model King re-issued by Round2. They've already re-issued the '65 Mustang AF/X car, '69 GTO F/C, and the '73-ish Challenger is due out in November, so the '69 Camaro F/C, Falcon AF/X, and Cougar F/C can't be too far behind.Yaaaaaay, US !!!
lysleder Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Revell reissued Heller's excellent 1931 Bentley this year, so maybe we'll see some other heller kits coming out from them. The BMW 328 would be a natural fit with the other classic BMWs Revell Germany has released.Heller is revitalized out of administration with a new owner and new management, and they are on a roll with new stuff coming out. Now, accurate predictions are hard to make, and especially about the future, but anyhow; For 2016 I think we will get the two announced Citroens, the HY van and the Mehari. Then we might get a new announcement of a Mehari kit spin-off. Since Heller's 2CV kit is fairly good, albeit simple, I would guess maybe a Citroen Ami is on cue.For re-issues I agree the BMW 328 is a good candidate, and so is the Alfa Romeo C6 1750 ZagatoTalbot-Lago RecordA variation of the Citroen B14. Ditto for the Citroen C4 light truckAny one of the open-wheel race cars of the early 70's (Brabham BT33) unless those tools resides in the far east from having been released by Union and Renaissance. What RoG comes out with next is anybody's guess, but to follow up on their run of semi-old compact cars I would guess for an BMW 'neue klasse" i.e. 2002 turbo.
keyser Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Casey has a mayonnaise jar from Funk and Wagnalls porch (Johnny Carson ref). Hoping for better distribution of Heller, and the sweet Ferguson tractor that can be a Fordson with minimal work. Anybody have Heller in US?? C7R. New Ford GT. 991 GT3 RS. P1 McLaren. Im pulling for the RS obviously

It would seem to be an obvious choice for the company
CapSat 6 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Yes i agree with you on the Challenger Hellcat but only in 1/25th scale but a 70' Superbird in 1/12th or 70' charger r/t 1/12th would be cool! I'd be happy with almost any Factory stock-style 1/12 Mopar, but I would definitely be more interested in a Muscle-era offering. I would rather see them do a 1/12 '68-'70 Charger than the Hellcat. I think if they did this generation of Charger, there would be definite potential for multiple tool variants (different years, Daytona, 500), but if they had to pick any, I'd like to see them do a tunnel back/ non-NASCAR car first. This Charger could be a scale- up of their current 1/25 kit, while I'd rather not see them do an E-Body- only because every recent E-Body attempt has had serious body proportion problems.
Mike Chernecki Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Hoping for better distribution of Heller, and the sweet Ferguson tractor that can be a Fordson with minimal work. Anybody have Heller in US?? Any word on these yet? I see them on the Heller site, but no mention anywhere of a release date. I have both a 1950s Ferguson TEA20 and early 1940s Ford 9N. Both are workhorses that are used regularly.

I have both a 1950s Ferguson TEA20 and early 1940s Ford 9N. Both are workhorses that are used regularly. Nothing at all. You've got some awesome tractors, and using them is even better! Two of the coolest tractors ever. I've only seen their website. I can't even find a place to pre-order a couple and the other Heller stuff like the E-types and the Mehari. I've got a rancher friend who has a restored 9N with a built Mercury flathead he uses in vintage tractor pulls. Pretty funny that's even a thing, but it does well and the flatty sounds terrific. Anybody else have source for Heller? Nothing really on eb either save for a few hugely overpriced kits.
GMP440 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 My predictions for 2016 would be: Round 2: 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T 1980 Plymouth Volare 1969 Barracuda Hurst Hemi Under Glass

I wonder if someone will do a wagon and Aspen parts so I can build my grandfather's '79, which was the last car he bought.Charlie Larkin

Brett Barrow Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 AMT 57 Ford I would guessRound2 was planning on do it (would have been kit # AMT-815) but it was cancelled for some reason.
Sledsel Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Round2 was planning on do it (would have been kit # AMT-815) but it was cancelled for some reason. Bummer..... Maybe retooling the old custom parts?
unclescott58 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I wonder when the MPC '71 Demon that we were promised a few years back, will be out?
Rob Hall Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 I'd like to see full detail kits of the Challenger Hellcat, Charger Hellcat, Chevy SS, '16 Camaro SS, '16 Mustang GT and Shelby GT350, GT350R, new Ford GT40. But given Revell's fear of new subjects and slowness, and Round 2 and Moiebus' focus on the past, I don't see any of these happening..

Hobby Search had them for preorder, they only seem to have the Mehari currently..not seeing the van and tractor currently...I'm sure Hobby Link Japan will have them eventually..
250 Testa Rossa Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Hopefully Round 2 will bring back the AMT 1966 Chrysler Imperial convertible.
lysleder Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) For Heller kits, I see Stevens International import them, but they don't seem to carry the whole catalog. In 1/24 they only have the three E-types listed as "in stock", and the Ferguson listed but not available yet. So those at least, you should be able to have your LHS get for you.If nothing else, you can always do business directly with Heller itself, http://www.heller.fr/en/ Edited September 30, 2015 by lysleder
Brett Barrow Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 We (megahobby.com) will have the Ferguson tractor whenever it comes out. I don't think it's out in France yet. We just got the Jags in today.

disabled modeler Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The tractor will be on my wants list for sure....cool to have them coming out. Shame they do not re-issue the old Ertl Massey and IH tractors for us all.
