Sorry Bob and anyone else who might be wondering but there is no new progress.  Life happens and it stalled out for a bit but I really would like get it finished up this year.  I'll update when I have some progress to show.  It's too close to being done, I have to finish it.  Thanks for the continued interest.

What's NOT to stay interested in! I have followed this build of yours the whole way through and you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be here when you pick this one back up. Looking forward to the next update when time allows on your end.

I hope you don't mind me writing in now - I have been working through the build photographs straight through with fascination. This is beautiful, incredibly beautiful work, and I'll add my voice to those others hoping we'll see this completed one day. I'd cut off my right leg to have the Immortan's Gigahorse on a sideboard.

I know it has been some time, but mine is just another voice raised to salute this beast!

I'm glad to see that your attention is once again on this project.

This is such a tremendous undertaking that when it is finished, it will have outlived the popularity of the movie itself.

People will wonder what your inspiration was. :D

The amount of work you put into the detail and accuracy of this model is mind-boggling. It would be wonderful if there was some way of sharing it with the folks who designed and built the 1:1. I'm sure that their minds would be suitably blown.

So I have a new motorcycle on top of my others keeping me entertained.

What's worse than foiling one 59 Caddy, that's right two and even worse the second one sits between the fins of the first.  It's not perfect but considering the task and my dread of doing it it looks acceptable. This project is one step closer to being done, but riding season is here again. I hope I keep both moving forward. Thanks for following.

Great work blending those bodies!

I was thinking about this build the other day and was wondering if you finished it and I somehow missed it.

I guess this answers that question. Glad to see it back on the boards.

Congrats on the new bike too!

Thanks David, did a nice ride yesterday but worked on this last night and today so I have some progress pics. I have the harpoon and posts done and some interior shots before final assembly. It's getting closer to completion.  Thanks for the continued interest.

The degree of difficulty of this project is beyond comprehension!  It just might be the most incredible build ever seen on this forum.  Sure, there are other fantastic scratchbuilds out there but all the ones I can think of were based on well documented automobiles.  You built this from a bunch of screen shots!  I tip my hat to you sir, this is truly amazing, proof that human beings can do anything!

Cheers

Alan

Hello fellow modelers and followers. Last Thursday I decided I was going to get this assemble. I added the tailights and got the glass in, one was donated to carpet gremlins and had to make another. Things were looking good until I couldn't find my wraped exhaust pieces. I've torn the hobby room apart and still no luck, don't you hate when that happens. If I can't find them I guess I will have to build them again but I am trying to get this finished. Thanks for all the support through this project.

Holy Cow! 😮

I am so glad to see this build back in the light of day Steve!

It's a shame about the lost part but I don't think you'll allow that to slow you down for long.

I'm sure they will turn up once you build the replacements! :D Isn't that the way it always seems to go?
