Matt Bacon
Just got my "New Model Kits Autumn 2105" e-newsletter from Revell, and kit 07056 is 1:24 Ferrari 250 SWB: It's probably the older Italeri kit, but that's pretty good, much better than the Esci/AMT version, and it will be a lot easier on the wallet than the Gunze Sangyo kit. I'll be having a couple, for sure! bestest, M. Edited October 6, 2015 by Matt Bacon
MrObsessive
Aaaah! One of my all time favorite Ferraris! I built this out of that years ago.............. I do have another kit, but would sure like a couple more! One can't have too many of these! I hope this is the real deal this time and not a tease. This was supposed to come out a while back, but was cancelled for some reason.

afx
I would love a new mold but I will gladly accept the old Italeri kit.

Chuck Kourouklis
E X XÂ c e l l l l e n t!My ol' Italeri is buildable but kinda pillaged and loose. Â It'll be very nice to nab this one afresh.
Lagib
"New Model Kits Autumn 2105" Wow, Revell/Germany is already working 90 years ahead of everyone else!
Snake45
Is this gonna be the Italeri or the ESCI kit? If it's the latter run away...run like the wind....
PowerPlant
This was due for release a couple years back, got my hopes up, and then they just pulled the plug on it for reasons unknown...Fingers crossed it really does come out this time! MrObsessive
Is this gonna be the Italeri or the ESCI kit? If it's the latter run away...run like the wind....Good question Snake! If it is the woefully inaccurate ESCI kit, then in the words of the late, great Emily Litella........."Never Mind!"
keyser
The GTO they recently did was the GS iirc. GS did a SWB too. Here's hoping for the Italeri. Much better. Esci is trash. Very abnormal for Esci, their other stuff is pretty nice, big thread about them somewhere here.
martinfan5
I will probably end up getting one.
jaymcminn
Of course. Now that I paid silly EBay money for the original Italeri issue...
Phildaupho
This is great news. I have an AMT I have been trying to massage into a presentable SWB. I just hope the 275 GTBs get reissued someday.
PowerPlant
Any news about this one? There doesn't seem to be much info online...
Matt Bacon
Revell seems to be having some trouble with the pictures at the moment, but the newsletter is here:http://www.revell-news.de/display.php?M=114256&C=9c703e743de608183b910bacd933aa65&L=36&N=173and you can pre-prder from Hannants here:https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/RV7056bestest,M. Edited October 15, 2015 by Matt Bacon
MrObsessive
Hmmm............Revell's site still doesn't answer the million dollar question---------who's tooling was it formerly?? Which one it is will determine whether I buy one or not.
PowerPlant
I have a hunch it will be Italeri (fingers crossed)... I'm just curious about this October release, since we're already half way through the month

Supposedly the Italeri although I am trying to find out. I have an original Italeri unbuilt in the stash, so not frothing at the mouth on this one. Rob Hall
I would assume it is Italeri, as RoG has reboxed their Ferraris before. Â I have an unbuilt Italeri in the stash also, so I'm not hyped about this release..
Scott - Elm City Hobbies
Currently slated for a January release, which will mean early Feb. before it hits shelves in NA.
MrObsessive
Scott, any word on which kit it is?? I'm hoping it's the Italeri one and not that junky ESCI kit.
Scott - Elm City Hobbies
Nah, just a listing without a picture at this point. Nothing on the Revell Germany site as of yet either, they might be waiting until IPMS Telford is over with before updating. Only thing I can tell you is it is kit 07056 1/24 Ferrari 250 SWB, and MSRP is $39.95US
fomocomav
I want to upgrade my Sunny/Academy Ferrari 250LM, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas on which Ferrari 250 kit (SWB or GTO) I should use for the motor and chassis, I would be grateful!
