Aaronw
That is neat. I've got a trailer mounted generator at work, obviously a little bit of difference between a welder and a generator but you got the look right. What did you use for the cables? They are very convincing.

426-Hemi
I have GOT to ask.. what was the size "C" channel you used for the frame? I'm going to be doing something similar and would like a little guidance on the frame and how you went about doing it.....NOT the frame that is below the welder but the trailer frame is what I'm seeking here.....As I'm building a different trailer then to haul a welder, BUT something else. HOWEVER on top of that I'll be building a welder too for a whole other build to affix it to a Utility bed!
SlotDaddy1963
Thanks for all the positive comments, guys To answer the questions I saw... The welding cables are a tiny resin-core solder that I've had so long I don't remember what kind or size it is... or where I got it. The C-channel for the frame and the trailer are actually modified H-column beams. I used this just because I had it on hand and for the added depth over ordinary channel. If I have any left on the workbench, I'll update this later with the sizes Thanks again for the feedback Chuck
