Hi, I'm new here so I figured I'd show a build I did some years ago. I built this hippie bus because I live about 15 min. from the original 1969 Woodstock festival & it's a familiar thing around here. It's all hand painted & the interior was made from scratch. Just figured I'd post something cool that I've done. Thanks for looking!

That is really cool!  You did a great job on what looks like a really rough casting.  Really great interior detailing.  I see the packs of smokes, but where are the bags of weed?

Looks great - PEACE, brother!!!

Is this a resin copy of ARII's Japanese bus body (1/32) mated to the front of amt's '50 Chevy PU ?

I had the idea to combine this one with an amt PU cab to create a school bus but stepped back because of the bus interior (rather boring...)

Your hand painting skills are to be admired! That really grabs the look from back then, when 80% of us were of age to be there. Unfortunately, a friend and I turned back to Connecticut when we heard the traffic reports ... a long regretted decision. :( eheh

Mark, Great Job on the Exterior!! But that Interior is WAY too Neat, but you did catch the required interior accessories, although the TV would have bee a rare find. Now did you scent it with Patchouli Oil? :P

Missed the experience, I was doing my time with the USAF in NC.  That bus is out of sight.  Just enough detail in the interior to get the point across, especially the "strange" red bottle on the table.   Your hand lettering skills are outstanding.  I really love this bus.

Now I have this sudden urge to watch reruns of the Partridge Family.

You did a great job on your bus Mark. Interior is very cool.

Thank you to everyone here for all the great compliments! It's nice to see you guys enjoy the work we do & not just point out all the inaccuracy in things, & god knows my work is full of them.
