espo Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Not a subject I would normally be interested in, but it is a BMW and I do like the fender flairs and all. I'll be looking for one of these for sure.
Exotics_Builder Posted August 29, 2017 Posted August 29, 2017 Hi,Wow I bet the engine will look sweet. What engine? It is curbside
djflyer Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 (edited) Dam - curbsides again! I said it before about the 2002tii and will again - this is definitely one kit that should have engine detail. Maybe there's hope. Scale Production did a resin transkit to provide complete underhood detail for the Belkits Ford Escort. Its amazing - full engine compartment, inner fenders, etc, with your choice of Ford BDA or Lotus Twin-cam. I have already suggested they do one for the the BMW 2002. Edited August 30, 2017 by djflyer

Even if on the level of the Revell 3 series from the late 70's.
mikemodeler Posted August 30, 2017 Posted August 30, 2017 Sweet, remember a bunch of these back in the early 80's when I worked at a BMW dealer. Might have to save my lunch money for one of these!
62rebel Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Square tail lights! I'm definitely interested now.
PowerPlant Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Finally is all I can say! Even for a curbside kit
dublin boy Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Matija, if you can find a Revell US Spec E21 3 series kit, it has the right engine, and the one I have built from back in the day has an optional turbo, not sure if the all have them though. How's tricks?Shay.

unclescott58 Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Does anyone put out a non-turbo version of the 2002 as a kit? You know, one with no stripes or wheel flares. One with bumpers.

I like the purity, the clean look, of those late 60's, early 70's BMWs.

niteowl7710 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 I can't speak to the iPad, but on my phone all I see is the avatar, the name of the person, "Members" (which is the group the person belongs to - as opposed Moderator or Administrator) and their post count.
