Did anyone pre-order this kit at one of the online retailers? Just curious if there's an estimated arrival date yet or not.

Model Roundup is showing it and the '68 Chevelle as January releases.  I figure I'll order one or two once it's available from them.

Great job Raoul.  I got started on the Boss but never got beyond the body mods and paint stage.

Can you identify the grabber blue one?

I found one episode of Dan August with the blue Quarterhorse in it. For some reason, it has a red standard Shelby hood on it with what looks like a 65 GT350 scoop riveted on. It also has a non-Shelby rollbar in it.

Maybe not 100%, but what's on the flyer looks VASTLY improved in the front end.  Looking forward to it...

X2!  Hope revell actually took the time to get this one right. A line drawn across at the bottom of the headlights touches them all equally.

IIRC Ed said it was retooled....but correct....no pics!

I saw it in built-up form.  The front end was much, much better.  TIM

Early on when this upcoming kit was announced, about 2 1/2 years ago it was reported that this was going to be a new tool with corrected front nose. Good to see it may be showing to the Party soon.

Will be interesting to see if just the nosepiece is corrected, and if it will match up to the old Mach I body. If it does, that will allow a lot of '69 Mustang Sportroofs to be built beyond the Boss 302.

As has been mentioned on other threads on this subject, the front end is new, and based on the built-up test shot I saw nearly a year ago, looks much, much better.  I did not have time to study it closely, so this was my first impression only.   Like many of you, I'm anxious to get my hands on one and check it out more closely...TIM

That front end looks so much better already! Not so forlorn and forsaken looking as the previous one. B)

Now if they could just somehow fix the front end on that '70 429................

Was thinking that same thing on both counts myself.

The '70 front end isn't perfect, but it's nowhere near as offensive to the eye as the '69 kit was. (My eye, anyway.)

I would hope Revell would see it fit to make available a nose piece as a separate retrofit for the old kits we have lying around.

The flawed fenders were harder to see with the '70 design. I'm hoping the correction went beyond just the headlight areas.

Wonder if they maybe just did a quickie fix like this....

Well fellows, I can tell you that more than a few people are going to get to find out how correct it really is "in the plastic" because I got the message today from Stevens Intl that they're in stock. My shop should be receiving both the Boss 302 and the Chevelle next week!

We just got these in today (along with the Chevelle), our preorders are going out today and if you order one before noon tomorrow and are east of the Mississippi there's a decent chance you'll get it before Christmas

At least we know who to direct our complaints to if it doesn't. <_<  ;)

Thanks for the heads up, Brett. :)
