Jared Roach Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Latest build. The old mongram 57 chevy nomad. Built as a pro touring style. Aftermarket wheels, big brake kit, supercharged lsx swap, upgraded interior. Simple kit and build but came out awesome. 1
slusher Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Super sharp looking model !!!!! What color and brand paint did you use?
lazlow Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 That is beautiful, How did you get the Bel-air script chrome on the silver paint fins.
Koellefornia Kid Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Very cool build I love these Torque Thrust wheels and the paint job looks really smooth!
Dragonhawk1066 Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Looks fantastic! Great job on the chrome trim!
Intmd8r Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Excellent build. Really like what you put together here. I have this kit in my collection that I want to use in a future build. Any tips, comments, or reviews you want to share?
OldTrucker Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 I have never seen this kit done better than this!

The top is water base paint off of a hyundai? I think lol. And the grey and red are tamiya acrylics. Well it is very basic, lots of mould lines and imperfections, and the bumpers and hood dont fit very well at all. But I knew that going into the build lol. Edited January 23, 2019 by Jared Roach
Jared Roach Posted January 23, 2019 Author Posted January 23, 2019 And thank you everyone else! It turned out well.
RAMBENNA Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 wow really love what you did with this build, looks fantastic, great in black and great detail.
89AKurt Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 That looks really sharp! But, because I owned a '57 4 door wagon, I'm really partial too. It was fun washing it, around those fins. Did you forget to BMF the top trim piece, or is the lighting not showing it?
moparfarmer Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 Very nice job on a real old Monogram turd of a kit..She sure is a beauty..Well done and super clean..Goes to prove that an experienced modeler can make a turd shine..Excellent..
