Snake45 Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Very cool! I might get started Snake-Fuing mine this week.
cobraman Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Danbury Mint . 49 Merc Club Coupe . Another die cast left to me in my BIL estate. Not bad but looks to have a bit of rash (?) on roof and trunk lid . 3
THarrison351 Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Nice Merc! I had one for a couple of years. Then I ran across a Merc woody wagon that needed love, so it went to eBay. Mine had a bit of rash too.
Gramps46 Posted May 3, 2023 Author Posted May 3, 2023 Now that is a good looking Mercury Club Coupe. Might just have to put that on my watch list.

cobraman Posted May 3, 2023 Posted May 3, 2023 Found these 2 while still working on cleaning out my BIL’s home . I think these may be duplicates of ones I posted but these are new in box .

1959scudetto Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Just in from the postman (via ebay France) - 1955 Chevy 3100 PU from Hachette (1/24, Mexican series) - a plain, no fancy working truck. 3
Dave Van Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Detail paint and decals added to $10 die cast from Blue Box store...... 2

Oh yes. I like this a lot. But I already have the Welly dark blue version. Wait a minute, the Welly is a 1953. Edited June 2, 2023 by Gramps46
Snake45 Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Had to order the new AMT '65 GTO from DMW, and as I did so, noticed they were now offering the nice Maisto '65 El Camino in red, so ordered one. Got it today. It is absolutely gorgeous! Will probably be my next Snake-Fu project. I already did a blue one so I know it's a pretty quick and easy job. Just have to decide if I want to replace the stock tires and wheel covers with something cooler--it would be worth the extra effort if I do.

cobraman Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Got these die cast planes from my BIL’s estate . Could not see them just get tossed out . 2
Gramps46 Posted July 10, 2023 Author Posted July 10, 2023 I don't have many MOPARs so Geno's Hachette Dodge Charger is a nice addition. The jars? Same era as the models. ? 1
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 (edited) 1/24 Motormax VW doublecab pickup. Though there's a glaring error with the bed being made separate from the cab structure, and the side-window offsets are horrendous, the scaling and proportions are spot-on, and match the 1/24 Hasagawa kits almost exactly. The errors are fixable for someone so inclined...which I'll do sometime before 2035, maybe. I had a real one as my daily for many years, and letting it go was one of the stupidest things I've ever done. Anyway, after I got the first Motormax version in my clammy old hands, I liked it so much I bought two more. Edited July 11, 2023 by Ace-Garageguy TYPO
NYLIBUD Posted July 20, 2023 Posted July 20, 2023 Just got my KTM Red Bull race bike in the mail today.
Mike C. Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 More muscle! I have the original Ertl issue but this new one from Autoworld is a lot more detailed and the trunk lid opens. Unlike the Toys R Us exclusive. 2
Ace-Garageguy Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Bburago 1/24 Ferrari Monza SP1. Beautiful model, especially considering the price. There are two versions of this, the one most commonly available in the US does NOT have the opening hood and deck, so pay attention if you want one. 3
Rob Hall Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 Got this beautifully detailed Salvat 1/24th ‘65 Ford Galaxie 500 4dr from an eBay seller in France in the mail today. 1
